So... not happy to let the first Jewish President, whoever they may be, have the first Seder in the white house, President Obama has gone forward and decided to have one himself for the first family and a few token Jews in his administration.
With Hagaddahs and Yamakules and everything.
Ok... now the back story
Back in his campaign 3 of his worker bees, (baggage handler, videographer and an advance planner) had themselves a makeshift Seder in the basement of a hotel in Pennsylvania.
Obama walked in, and realized that these guys weren't taking Passover off to help his campaign...
and so legend has it that Obama said... "If I get into office, I'll have a Seder, just for you guys."
And so he did...
Good thing? Bad thing? Discuss!

You seem a little peeved.
I think it's nice that he's reaching out to other communities aside from the Christians. Some would call it pandering, but to me I think this and other things the Obama's have done for the White House have shown a willingness to learn and try new thing.

Well it would of been better if he didn't LEAD the Seder, I thought it would been proper for him to give the room to his staffers and let the eldest Jew in the room lead and the youngest Jew in the room do the 4 questions. The president should of been a guest in his own house and let the Jews who take it less as a secular tradition and more like a religious obligation run the show. Not to have Obama with Hagaddah in hand having his children read the 4 questions. It's almost as bad as a Faux-Mitzvah.

Obama is a nut. Happy to please minorities, himself, and destroy our hopes for future economic prosperity. ^_^ 'Nuff said.

These political topics make me feel inferior in my intelligence. However, like most political things, It was probably just for show y'know? Making the statement of "hey, I accept all people" No harm done, but no gain either.
