Look I really do appreciate your very forward attempt at befriending, but I'd rather not have to decline more friend requests. I don't make friends that way sweatdrop If you want to talk, pm me first and we'll see if we are even compatible as friends!

trust me, i understand. i hate it, cuz i accept and all, but then they never message me, and i never know who they are, but i don't wanna delete them, cuz what if i actually know them or something?

oh yeah, I seem to be getting many lately too.
.. but I'm one of those people who decline them more often than accept them. If I have never talked to someone before hand than I figure I won't after.

one time, sumone stopped me in a game room and said hi and that i was one of their friends,
and i didnt remember them and i felt bad sad

I get random friend requests all the time, but I'm so nice I never decline them. It's a curse of mine... I don't mind though, most of the time the people are really cool. :]

Whenever I get a friend request from a person I don't know, I usually shoot them off a PM asking how I know them. I'm less blunt in the PM than I am here, but that's usually the gist of it. If they PM back and explain or if they seem like fun to talk to, then I friend them. If not, decline. Simple.
I've seen people send out mass PMs to all their friends asking how they know them because they're trying to clean out their friends list and don't want people who've stopped playing Gaia on there. They usually give a deadline, and whoever hasn't replied gets taken off. They also say that they'll have no hard feelings if a person doesn't reply because they honestly don't remember how they became friends. Hope that helps. ^^;

If I get a random friend's request I generally deny them, but sometimes I'll accept them *nods*
