They were getting close to the bottom, so close, but the black Kuniku's luck finally ran out as the log rolled sideways, pitching him off into the dirt. He was on his feet in a flash, aware of the thundering sound all around him, not about to get flattened just because of a dumb mistake. It wasn't until he arrived at the sidelines that he breathed out, feeling the first flickers of defeat enter his gut. There weren't many left now, but he continued to watch, determined to at least see it out the end results.

So, Sangokai got a little ahead of himself. The log rolled much too fast, and his tail dropped a little bit too low... What was once his balance, now became his downfall, catching on the log, sending him flying down the hill, laying quite still at the base, as he thought about the bones in his arm that were clearly broken. Well, damn. There was always next year.

Results

It looks like Kuniku weren’t built for rolling on logs because they’re falling everywhere. Nice try Viveka, hope you didn’t hit your head too hard. Oh dear Reivu watch out for that- nope, too late. Nice recovery Xerxes, though it may have been more impressive if you were still on the log. Oh-oh! We need the medic down here, looks like Sangokai’s in some serious pain.

The log eventually comes to a halt and only one Kuniku is left on board; the handsome Fuji! Well done!

And there’s someone coming to meet you; he’s a ten time log rolling champion; brave and undeniably awesome.
