Tairi was sitting at the cafe table quietly, reading her book and enjoying her coffee. It was a lovely spring day, and she was settled back in her chair out in one of the outdoor spots. She felt a lovely breeze on her face and released a pleasant sigh.. Soo nice.. But of course, she couldn't shake it. Finally, she peered up reluctantly to the little creature across from her. Koya had closed up her coloring books and was staring, HARD, at her mam, lips in a big pout.

"Yes, little guppy?" The woman asked, a sigh in her voice. She set her book down on the table now, head canting to one side and her ears twitching.
"... Bored..." The girl mumbled, and then dramatically let her head fall to the table as she let out a huuuuge siiiighhhhh~
Tairi had finally gotten some time out of the house to enjoy herself, having left her littlest one at home with a sitter (a rare thing she got to enjoy), but her oldest child had refused to stay put. The fish-girl had crossed her fingers and her heart over and over just to come with her, so under the premise she would behave, Tairi brought her. Of course, those promises all seemed to be falling through now. What happened to staying quiet and doing her own books?

The feline woman eyed a small playground to the side of the cafe, just within eyeshot.. Hmm.. Was it worth it..? Finally, she gave a defeated nod. "Fine, why don't you go play over there?" Koya turned to look reluctantly at the playground, "Ummm.." She wrinkled her nose...

And then she was up on her feet, standing on the chair to reach her caretaker. "'Kay!" She reached over, grabbing the older woman's face and planting a kiss on her cheek before jumping down and running gleefully to the potential source of fun. "Bye, Mam!" She offered without looking back.

"Stay where I can see you!"

"Uh huh~!"

Tairi sighed.

"Hi!" The girl greeted the boy as soon as she noticed him, beaming happily. Oh~! A potential friend! How exciting. She skipped over to him gleefully and plopped down on the swing beside him. "I'm Koyaa~! Who're youu?" She questioned in an almost sing-song voice, legs swaying beneath her joyfully. She reached out and lightly touched his cheek with two fingers, "You're'a pretty color!" She complimented in an awed tone. He was. How lucky.

The girl grinned happily at the compliment, her tail flopping happily behind her. She wasn't quite graceful with it yet on land, but she was learning. "Thank you!" She responded cheerily. She had remembered her Mam always told her to say that after someone said something nice.

She looked to where he was pointing- more books! What was up with that? She nodded, "Yeah, I jus' have my Mam, but she's over there." She pointed towards the blonde, who was also.. Reading. "But she's being BORING." Koya stuck her tongue out and rolled her eyes exaggeratedly. "What's up with those big books anyways?" She looked around again. "What'cha doin'? How long ya been here?"

"Hmm, really? Mam's never read any books like that to me an' my brother Jaxxy. My books are kinda like that, but not so big. No pictures, anyways." The girl began to lightly swing back and forth, tail now swishing back and forth behind her. She was happy for the company, that was to be sure. She was also idly scanning the play area, scouting out possible adventure during their conversations. "Ohh. Yeah. Mam wanted to get away for a li'l bit, an' she said I could come out too if I was good. We got here awhile ago.." She wasn't sure how long ago that was.. Waiting for her Mam to notice her earlier had felt like an eternity.

"Wanna play?" She questioned now, beginning to swing a bit more seriously now. She had her newest 'partner-in-crime' picked out, and she was starting to feel mischievous.

The girl beamed happily, and then began to push herself slightly. "What games d'ya like to play?" She queried cheerily, contemplating what game she wanted to play. There was simple stuff, tag, hide'n'seek, that kind of stuff, or even just playing on the jungle gym.. But then there was the super fun stuff- playing monsters or explorers or maybe even finding some grass to play in.

"I like everything." She said, quite seriously. She meant it. She just loved to play.
