Quote:
Jawbone is a quick, clever female who has the trained skill to be silent when she moves, and disappear when she doesn’t want to be found.

Jawbone is part of an elusive clan who reside deep in the dark woods of the Di’Taki forest. Their existence is said by some to be rumored, while others know they exist. Trained to be spies, and silent warriors of sorts, built and conditioned for speed and agility more than strength. Their task as a clan, is to watch the Di’taki/Adahy boarders to ensure that the two races stay separated in the best interest in maintaining the tentative peace they have going already. They can also report if they find any eggs or young being left, or suspicious activity from either side.
Read more about Jawbone here.

Quote:

Bramble is slightly self-conscious about his broken horn. He broke it in an admirable fight with another male Di'Taki. How he lost his horn doesn't bother him, but why does. He battled another male to win a female who he thought would be a lifemate. A prize, he later discovered, turned out to be not worth winning. And certainly not worth the cost of his horn. Because of this, Bramble chooses to stay aloof, emotionally, where females are concerned.

Jawbone lives alone, but he is accepted by many that know of his abilities in battle. He will rarely pick a fight, but he no problems in finishing them if they are started by others.

Jawbone and Bramble met and formed a kinship. They live apart and don't claim to be a pair, but they when they chance to meet now and then, they are amiable towards one another.

One of their chance meetings produced eggs. It is a rare occurrence for a Di'Taki mating to produce eggs. This pairing not only produced three eggs, a very rare occurence, two of the eggs are twins.

The twins have been separated, one staying with Jawbone and one taken by Bramble. The third egg, a male, was also taken by Jawbone to be raised by the tribe.

Dangerous Hunter

Well i was going to wait for someone else to post first so i don't seem greedy <3 But I can wait no longer x3

This fellow will stay with his mother. For my ease he will be reffered to as 'Egg' for the time being x3

Egg will be raised by Jawbone and the clan and through this he will come to see them as his family, making him very unwilling to leave. Egg would think his mother was the greatest thing since sliced bread and aspire to be like her, especially as a youngster, doing everything she tells him to and striving to be a great member of the clan himself. Perhaps even chiding his sibling for not doing things the way Jawbone would, and possibly having to be told off for doing so. Egg would be focused and determined, perhaps making him a little critical of others, possibly his sibling, for not being as driven as he is. While kind at heart Egg would hold the things his mother and the clan believe in in highest regard. This might eventually lead to him being a stickler for the rules, possibly seeing things more black and white than they are.
Egg would be mature for his age, always trying to be 'grown up' like his mother, and apt to spend time thinking about things when he doesn't have anything else to do. (also mature for his age because i don't envision this 'clan' to be full o f many youngsters and constantly being in the company of adults does that to you). Egg would also have a large amount of self control, able to keep his feelings and emotions in check, even as a child, in order to make informed decisions based on his observations, some might call him insightful for this talent but really Egg just strives to find the 'right' answer in whatever he does.

In the future when he grows up he might start questioning things a little more, still determined and still loyal to his clan and their cause but...unsure. This could make him prone to making mistakes or not doing things 'right'. If he hears tell of his fathers fighting prowess he might choose to try and achieve the same standard as his father, perhaps even by searching him out in an attempt to ask for teaching, which could lead to some confusion for him if he met his siblings twin, especially if he hadn't been told his sibling had a twin. Moving into real Adulthood Egg would probably re-align himself with the 'clan' in a much more fixed way, but this would depend on events and how they happened through his teen years, he even has the ability to end up working against his clan if twisted enough at a young enough age, but otherwise his loyalty and respect for his mother would keep him strongly bound to his 'family' and their cause.

wheee rough and ugly little bit of a snippet for you x3 he's such a pretty egg <3
may come back and make this less...rough-draft. But that depends on how much time i have in the next little while =) My cousins are down from vancouver and we never get to see them, so yeah.

So yeah, going to squeeze this in. >> Couldn't resist, that's a lovely egg.

Let's say, for a moment, that this egg will be named Gajulas. He will grow to be a strong-willed, open-minded di'taki, but he will eventually begin to poke his nose into things he shouldn't, leading him to leave the clan and walk the path of his father. Galujas would be stubborn, much preferring to go his own way than to follow along where others have gone before. He would be a little larger than most di'taki, a little bit more bulky, making it harder for him to follow Jawbone's footsteps and do the same job in the clan as she does. He is loyal and extremely protective, but skeptical of others, which makes it a little hard for him to trust anyone he meets. Gajulas has temper enough for three di'taki his size, and it can be easily raised without much effort. It takes him a long time to cool down and he most often holds a grudge towards who or whatever caused him to rage. Gajulas really hates fighting and hurting things, and if he does while he's mad or by accident, he will follow along whoever he hurt and apologize over and over, oftentimes becoming a sort of servant to them until they get annoyed and send him away to try and make up for it.

Gajulas would love his sibling immensely, doing everything he can to ensure that everything is right. He would act as a listening ear and be there always. This would probably get stifling after a while, which could cause a schism in between the siblings, which, of course, Gajulas would try his best to fix.

Most likely, his cause for leaving the clan would be that he got into an argument with somebody--in all probability his mother. Gajulas would still love Jawbone, but his short temper would cause him to overreact and leave. After he'd been out a while, he would eventually cool down and realize the consequences of his decision. Gajulas might think about returning to the clan, but his temper would get stirred up again by thinking about the argument, which would cause him to go farther away from it. After this, he would try his best to survive on his own outside of the clan, but just might come back after he's realized that he can't really function too well by himself.

If he does rejoin the clan, Gajulas would have changed a lot for them. He'd quash his temper, be a little less skeptical, a little more subservient and lose most of his grudge fuel. Gajulas would hang around Jawbone a lot, trying to make up for his cutting out on his own as best as he can.

Mmmm. :3 I <3 contests.

Gangrene eyed the shadows outside the clearing where his family's den was placed. He wasn't yet adult, but every day grew closer and closer, his body getting larger and stronger; so much like his father.

The scent of his mother and sibling covered the area, and he enjoyed seeing them every day, but his heart called. It called to the kindred fighting spirit of his father. It called to a life where skill, bravery, and honor won what was needed. Where hard work would pay off and create a path for him.

He parted his jaws, drawing scents deep. His father was near, in fact. Perhaps not looking for the family, probably just hunting, but near all the same. The young male's claws itched at the earth and his breath came in short, excited pants. He wasn't going to run away, per say. Really he wasn't running. Just moving on. He'd likely be back soon.

He stood and paced one last time around the den where he hatched, then turned and took off in the direction of the strongest scent. He'd likely be back soon, but not before learning a bit.

Not exactly a set plan for his future, but an idea of what he would be like. XD
