The young girl had just finished running and playing through the small wave when she landed with a soft "oomph" onto her back in the sand, out of breath and giggly. She stretched out happily, tail flopping at her side. "Mmmm~!" Koya LOVED the beach-- well, she loved any waterside location, but the beach was the closest and most accessible. Her caretaker was also with her, although quite a bit aways (the girl had a tendency to wander, after all), tending to her tot brother.
This allowed the fish child to truly enjoy herself. The bottom of her skirt and sections of her hair and skin/scales were now damp, and it felt great in the warm weather. She had yet to dive in to the waves, to the relief of her caretaker, but she had started truly considering it. She wouldn't be herself if she didn't. She sat up now, light film of sand sticking to the parts of her that were wet, turning her big ole' eyes out to sea again.
She felt so good sitting here in the sun, sand against her skin... But... She could almost feel the ocean calling her.. It was starting to build up inside of her- the need to just spring up and run head first into the ocean. Hmmm~

Leviathan was laying on the bottom of the water in the shallows watching this new comer with wide eyes. He'd never seen a water princess before today but now that he had he was in the best mood he'd been in for some time. A water princess was closest to what he was and as such someone he wanted to get his scaly hands on. He was waiting though, making sure that she got closer and closer to where he was, he coiled up, and just laid in wait. He was patient enough as he knew one couldn't catch anything if they were to hasty... and this was one catch that he wanted badly to make. If he made a misstep, so to speak, he would lose this amazing creature perhaps forever.
The dragon boy waited, breath held... not that he needed to hold his friend since he was able to breath under water, and waited for her to come closer. When the girl laid down there in front of him the end of his tail set to lashing in delight. She was just asking to be pounced he thought to himself as he started to creep closer to her, staying under for as long as he could, grinning a bit as he coiled up and readied himself... then lunged at her in an attempt to capture the girl for his own.

The girl had been slowly starting to rise, having decided she wanted to run head-first into those tempting waves. Before she could even get past a crouch, she was back on her rump again. AGH! She yelped softly, startled at the sudden attack. There was no pain, as she had barely even fallen and her tail had pretty much caught her anyways. Just 100% surprise and bewonderment.
She stared at her captor with wide eyes for a moment or so before seeming to realize he was another child. She had no qualms about personal space, so she was instantly over her capture and was instead smiling at her potential playmate. "Hello~?" She offered to him, tilting her head to one side. "What'cha doin'?" She didn't resist his attack at all, wondering if it meant he wanted to play with her.

Levi gazed down at the girl that wasn't shrieking or attempting to escape and seemed only that much more excited. Excellent! This meant that it would be easier to steal her away he thought to himself in a pleased fashion, "I am stealing you of course, Water Princess." He told her, as though it were most simple thing ever. He slid an arm around her before pulling himself up with his coils, "It is what we dragons do after all."
That the princess with the pretty tail had been left here must mean that someone was attempting appease the 'dangerous' dragon that lived in these parts. He was pleased with the offering and decided that he would allow whoever brought the princess to him to live! It was the best gift that one could receive from him after all, or so he thought. So long as they didn't change their mind and try to take her back from him... or was she potential bait to lure him out of the ocean's depths?
He looked around for a moment then started to back up toward the water with his prize. He was certain, since he come forth to claim her, that a knight would be appearing at any moment to save her. More often then not he would want for this, he loved his battles with knights more then anything else in the world but... when it came to this particular princess he didn't want to give her back. She was after all the perfect princess!

The potential game here delighted Koya.. Although she didn't know if she wanted to play the unwilling, frightened princess right now. She gave a look to the water-- after all, wasn't that where she was headed to all along? And plus, this boy seemed to be able to stay underwater just like her! She had never met someone else who could do that.. "'Kay!" She finally agreed to his request. She took a moment to look at him again- it was kinda cool to be taken away by a dragon! No worry or dangerous thoughts even bothered to rise in the young girl's mind.
She suddenly realized the only problem, and took a moment to look around with him-- her mam was always worrying and fretting all over her when it came to her wandering off too far or going into the water with her clothes on- not that it ever stopped her! She saw the older woman.. Aha! Wasn't looking. "It's okay.." She whispered to the boy, "My mam's not looking. Let's go into the water!" She was even starting to get a bit impatient with the time it took him to get into the water. She wanted to swim, after all.

Mam? Was that the name of her knight he found himself wondering, that she would share the information with him that that person wasn't looking was perfect! He gave a nod of his head, turned, and hurried into the water, holding onto her hand with his own. He had done it! He'd successfully stolen away the Water Princess! It was a day that would go down in the history books and all would fear him! The end of his tail was swishing in a delighted manner as he went under the water with the girl.
He looked over at her and grinned, showing many sharp teeth. He was in the best mood ever and it showed on his face from the happy look he had there. While he had no idea what someone a dragon was to do after they caught the princess aside from battling with the knights they traveled with. Oh well, he would figure this one out as he went he decided. He wondered if he should bring the girl to his lair now? Or maybe they should swim around a bit first, to put the knight called Mam off of their scent first? He didn't want any knights to know of the location of his lair after all so it would be best for them to do the latter.
While he was thinking something occurred to him, the girl seemed to be able to breath under the water in the same manner as him. She'd yet to need to surface and his eyes got a bit wide, "You can breath under water?" He asked in a demanding yet excited fashion.

The girl beamed happily, taking hold of his hand in return and gleefully dashing into the water. She loved the feeling of the water hitting her body when she went in full-speed. It was so much fun. And now that she was submerged underwater, she felt amazing. She loved the water so much.. If she could, she would never leave it.
She took in a deep breath through her gills now, and it felt amazing. While she could breathe both ways, underwater always felt so much better. The thin film that was her secondary (translucent) eyelids had slid over her eyes, and she was now looking around excitedly. This was fun! She was a princess being stolen away by a dragon! Her blood was really pumping.
She turned back to him as he grinned at her, smiling in return. Hmm, he was scaley kinda like her, but he had those big teeth.. Must be because she was a fishy and he was dragon or something.. She wondered if fishy even had teeth.. She had never checked.. And she was being spoken to. She blinked. "Ahh~! Yeah." She was careful not to breathe in through her mouth when she spoke. She tilted her head back and pointed at her gills, "See?" They flared and fell with each of her breaths, much like a fish's. And then she took a moment to swim around him excitedly. This was fun already.

This was, truly, the best princess that he'd met so far! Not that the Ruby haired Victoria was a bad princess mind you. So far the only bad princess he found was that Golden haired False Princess called Roxy. The end of Levi's tail wagged in a happy manner as he watched the way the girl demonstrated her water breathing skills then nodded, "Awesome! I've never met someone else who could do this." He said, looking so very happy that he'd met up with this particular princess. To have someone that was able to venture into his ocean with him and be not only at ease but also appeared to be in her element. It had him so very happy!
He grinned before he started to swim along with her, enjoying the fact that she seemed so happy to be with him. The idea of stealing a princess that wanted to be with him was a little odd, reminded him a bit of Roxy, but he couldn't be bothered with this girl not acting the part of the damsel in distress because everything else she did was perfect! He could get over that one little flaw.

"Me neither." She admitted, "I didn' think anyone else could!" She had never met anyone else even close to a water element, let alone another child who could breathe underwater like she could. "How do you do it?" She questioned now, leaning in to look at him closely.. She thought his scales were kinda pretty. The were so shiny~
And then her attention had shifted, and she was looking around the ocean with excitement. It was so vast and deep- she had already wandered deeper than she had ever been before (as she was usually never really allowed in past her waist, because her mam couldn't "See her" or whatever.) She took his hand in both of hers now, beaming at him. "Where are we gonna go next?" She was gonna recommend them going to explore, but she figured the dragon hadn't finished nabbing her just yet. This was like a storybook!

Levi seemed to be thinking about that one from the look on his face before he gave a bit of a shrug, "Don't know, breathing normally works both ways. I think... maybe my lungs are special?" He guessed, he couldn't really say for certain though since he'd never really thought on it. He didn't have those same sort of gills like she had, he just knew that going between one element and the other changed nothing, he could breath and talk just the same in either. That someone else could as well was just miraculous.
"We are going to swim around a bit to put Mam off of our trail before we head to my lair." He explained to the Water Princess, giving a bit of a grin as they moved along, he didn't want any one other then those he allowed inside, to know where his lair was located.

"Hmm.. Special lungs.." She mused, going thoughtful for a moment before nodding. "Yeah, pro'lly. I think that sounds right." And then she hit him with a smile before looking around once again. She couldn't help it. She was feeling so mischievous at the moment.. And then something caught her eye. "You have ears like mine!" She said delightedly, taking a hand to touch one of his ears with it. "Kinda!" And then she touched her own ears, as if checking to see for herself via touch.
Oooh~ A lair. Of course he had one! He was a dragon, after all. The fishy child nodded, swimming alongside him. "'Kay." She didn't tell him that her Mam probably wouldn't come after them unless she absolutely had to, as the woman detested the water and being wet. After all, she was a cat. Unless it was warm like a bath or jacuzzi, and soothing, Tairi wanted nothing to do with it.
"Oh~ Lookit the fishies." She commented to him, pointing a scaly hand towards a school of very small, skinny fish. Cool. She loved marine life.. Although she had never gotten to see any in person until now! "Are there lots of fishies when you come this deep?" She asked him. It almost made her want to go exploring for more.. But the promise of a lair was too tempting, so she behaved for now.

Levi gave a chuckle, one hand lifting up to touch one of his ears before he nodded, "It does seem similar." He agreed, tail swishing before he set to swimming a couple of circles around Koya before swimming along, "So, Water Princess... do you have a name?" He asked of the girl, he was curious as to what a Water type princess would be named, he was sure it would be something amazing he told himself.
He gave pause in his swimming when the girl seemed to be pointing toward the fish that seemed to be keeping a distance from him, "Heh... there are a lot of them but they are never around when I am close." He told her, after you got to eating enough of their friends they seemed to learn to steer clear of him. It just made the hunt more interesting... given the girl seemed to have great interest in the fish he wouldn't mention how he ate them.

The girl looked at him with a smile, "My name's Koyana." She offered now, "But most people call me Koya.. Like Mam does. What's your name?" She actually was almost a little bit shy here- he had called her a water princess (even though he had said it before, it only seemed to take affect here.) It seemed like a very flattering thing to say. She almost said thank you, but thought it over and decided it wasn't the kind of nice thing her Mam told her to say thank you to.
"Woww." She looked back at the fish now, "They're kinda pretty.." In a plain sort of way. She wasn't quite sure why she had such an affinity for the fish, but she never really thought too much in to it. She then extended her arms out to the side and did a couple of swirly swims through the water, just enjoying the feel of it against her. Ahh~ She really did feel like a fish that had been caught on land.. And she had just been thrown back into the water. It felt so amazing.

Koyana, that did sound like a good name for a Water Princess he decided after a moment's worth of thought before he puffed up, "I am called Leviathan." He told her, giving a grin that showed many sharp teeth.
He watched the way that he girl seemed to play with the fish, watching the way that they swam around her, and he was glad they were underwater since it hid the fact that he was drooling at the moment. They all looked so good, so tasty! He wanted to reached out to grab them as he was pretty sure that he could do just that if he were quick enough but he had to resist devouring Koyana's friends else she wouldn't really want to hang out with him any longer, "They do look good." He agreed with her, though what she was thinking of them and what he was thinking of them was quick different.
