Extra: A born rebel. A freedom fighter to it's purest point. A guy who doesn't take s**t from nobody! But he's also a very loving brother and would do anything for his siblings. He goes to the greatest extent he can to keep them safe.
Gavin suffers from shell-shock, though he's been gradually getting better in the past few months since his escape. He hates the British, from the core of his soul, but he loves his family and misses them terribly. He hasn't seen home for quite some time.

Life's Story: Gavin grew up fifth child of Shaun and Ava Grady. When his little siblings came into the picture, he immediately took a liking to them. As the years went by, he was their main playmate and protector. He took some fighting classes and got into street fights all the time just for the hell of it or for whatever other reason there was under the moon! He also spent a few years in Shibusen and became a Death Scythe. He never actually told WillKayne all the details though. He taught them how to protect themselves and a bit about how to work together when Kayne was able to turn into a bow, but those lessons had been stopped short....
He is a natural rebel and a vigorous freedom-fighter. He joined up with the RIRA, who believe in a free and united Ireland. He took part in a couple 'field mission' but never killed anyone. Until the one mission where everything went wrong.
He, Will and Kayne were running for dear life when he was shot. He'd always told them to never leave your blood behind, your friends neither; but this time he forced them to make an exception. He couldn't let them die.
Gavin was taken captive and shipped off to a high-security prison in England. Where.... he was tortured for nearly two years trying to get information out of him. But he never said anything save for his own name, but even then they weren't able to dig up anything. Talk about faulty systems. He was brutaly beaten, pushed to insanity, broke down so many times, wanted to die, thought about attempting suicide. Onece he attempted a break out. It didn't work and he'd killed one man and nearly another. In the end, he'd been sentenced to death.
The morning he met his executioner.... she shot the guards instead and helped him escape.
They made it to his brother's hospital in France, got himself healed up and became his savior's Death Scythe. He got to see his mother and father again, but it was decided that he lay low for a while and not return home just yet. They haven't told the rest of the family yet either- just incase. They did't know if they British were going to come after him and they dont want to take any chances with Gavin being an escaped criminal and all.
So, they came to Shibusen. Undertaker for a teaching job and he came as her assistant.
