I don't know about you guys but it seems that Pokemon gets there ideas from some of us. I've seen a few pokemon i've created and some how pokemon has them.
here is my list:
Pokemon Mine
Gible Fangdon (Diffence...it didn't have the head fin.)
Octillery Octillery (almost no differnce except didn't evolve)

I didn't start creating Pokemon until recently. The only way this could happen to me is if they make a Grass-type Wolf starter for Gen 5.

I made a fire starter based on a tiger called fieritty....a chipmunk based grass type name leafmunk  I'm no good at making up pokemon.

I've always been told that there was some contest that pokemon people held for ieads about new pokemon around the time the new gens came out. I always thought it was a rumor someone made up though, but the more I think about it, the more I think it may be true.
