I'm certain there are people who enjoy the series and hate being cast as an idiot because of other people in the fandom.

Let's face it, guys; there are dicknuckles on both side of this debate.

Yeah I was on Towns and this girl named "alice_cullen233" or something walked by. She was actually fairly nice, spelled pretty well, and she actually wasn't a rabid fan at all... but these morons insisted on screaming at her "ALICE HAS AIDS" etc.

I told them they were being immature, and they simply did not respond.

Maybe I should have told them, "you fail at insulting twilight." neutral

I agree. I actually met a few Twilight fans with a healthy opinion on the book/movie (that it does not portray the perfect love story) and who were willing to listen to my arguments without flipping out. 3nodding
Also, if antis behave like this *points above* I don´t believe they are any better than the regular twilight-crazed fan.
We should argue with reason and not offend others unnecessarily.

Yep. That's what most Twitards think anyway. They always seem to ignore me as soon as pull out the popularity =/= quality point though.

@ Panoptes: Very true. I've seen plenty of Antis that hated the series for the sake of hating it. Those are the ones that need a life.

That somewhat applied to me, because I was jealous of Edward Cullen and to some extent, Jacob Black. sad

But now, I am no longer jealous of those two guys as far as good looks and attention are concerned. biggrin
