I think this deserves its own post because I need help and advice.

What would you do if you were in my shoes?

First. Let me tell you what's going on. I hate where I live. I'm dependent on people that treat me like s**t. I don't have a car so I can't get a job nearby (we're too far away from the city to go by bus/bike).

I had this friend who lived up in Oregon and she was telling me she could fly me up and shelter me while I got my feet on the ground.

Offer still stands but now she wants rent money I don't have. So I had to pass on her gracious offer. /sarcasm

I am really upset because I gathered up the courage to tell my aunt that I would be moving out this Fall. I was SO happy. I was going to move on with my life and be independent. But that's not going to happen anymore. I don't have anyway to make this happen due to my predicament.

I have 12,000 dollars I need to pay back before 2012 (cuz I'm moving to Canada and I can't have debt when I move).

I can't afford to stay in school, but if I don't go I have to start paying off my loans. I have no money and right now my family is buying me my text books (for 2 classes and that's 300 bucks that we don't have). I need to go to University to get my Bachelors but... I can't even afford to stay in community college. There is no way in hell that I will be able to go to a University.

I want to take time off to work, but as I stated here, I can't work. Except online, but good luck finding legit things to work on online. (Halp? ; n ; ?)

*sighs* I'm 22 years old and my family literally ******** up my life by not letting me work in high school and by making me give them my loan money. My friends say I should sue, but I don't sue family members that can't get money to even pay their bills. That's low. YES, it was not right of them to take my money, but I don't believe in kicking dogs that are down, unlike them apparently.

So... what would you do if you were in my shoes?

I mean I could move to the city and get a job (but everywhere I look when I go into the city is not hiring). And then, I would have to pay rent money I don't have. Why would I pay like 600 dollars a month if I could spend that paying off my loan money? Seriously.

So I mean the only choice I have that I can think of right now is to stay here... but that doesn't solve my loan problem.... it might only make it worse. *sighs*

@ Gina: *hugs* ; n ; Ty for replying. The only financial aid I've applied for is the one through school... I'll have to look to see if I could get help elsewhere... but I would feel really bad about it. :'C I really want to work and have a job and be productive.

I have a van I can use, but the only problem is I can't afford the insurance. D; I mean once I have a job the insurance won't be a problem...

My aunt said she'll try to help me get to work and back... so at least she's going to try. = 3 = I just gotta find a place close by. She said I should try to get into something like Best Buy or another company that is up in Canada, so when I move they'll be able to get my records easier in case I want to work there again... so I'm going to try for that. ; A ;

; ___ ; I hope everything works out for you and your friend too. My friend can't find a job and her Dad lost his, so they have aid atm. But she gets a free ride through college cuz the state is giving her financial help (cuz her parents don't have a job I guess). ; A ; She's so lucky.

As for my friend in Oregon, she's asking for way too much rent. :'C So ya. Grr. I hate it when people get my hopes up and then everything just fails. lol
