prompt Upon waking, you realize your mother is gone. While she's gone, what is it you do?
Sayyadina was pretty strict and kept close watch on her daughter. Glow didn't mind. She admired her mother, but she did have questions that her mother seemed to avoid answering. Glow was curious about her father, but the only thing her mother would say about him was that he was someone she'd met a long time ago. Sayyadina wasn't someone you pestered with the same questions over and over again, so Glow had quietly and discreetly asked around to learn more about her father.
Glow Worm had learned from traveling Adahy that her father could possibly be found half a day's trek north. She figured she could look for him and be back by dark. If she got back late, she could use the excuse of getting lost in the woods. Her mother didn't let her forage very far on her own so it seemed like a plausible excuse.
Slipping out of the nest, she greeted the few Adahy that were up and about. She causally mentioned that she was going foraging. Glow knew that when her mother came back, she ask around if anyone saw her daughter. When they replied that she said she was going foraging, her mother wouldn't feel the need to go searching for her. With an empty gathering sack hung around her neck, Glow Worm trotted out of familiar territory and into her first adventure.
