News & Updates~
Go HERE for the latest News & Updates(12/04/05)Now that we have subforums some topics will be moved from their original spots to the subforums. Usually when a moderator moves a topic they'll posted in the topic to where the thread should be moved to. As for now though expect topics to be moved without warning. This will be in effect until all the guild topics are organized then the original rules will return. Today I've added a couple new subforums so I'll explain each one again.

Thank you everyone for supporting Loli Dollies as some of you may have noticed I've become even more busy so I need big help. I've started to pick new moderators. So far I've promoted Skie 0 but there is a few more that I'm looking over. Expect more to the Loli Dollies crew in the next update! <3

As some of you may know already, the guilds just went through a big migration and new features have been added as well. There are still things that need to be done for the guilds. As of right now, there may be a few bugs you may be experiencing. If you have any bugs regarding this guild please state it in your post in this thread.
2. Moderator Applications, Mods Needed.
I've stated before that I need moderators for the guild but at this moment since the guild system is still going through some tweaking I'm going to be put off recruiting mods for awhile. But once things become more stable with the system I will make an application sticky. It's been reported that the guild system will have sub forums now. <3 I really need the help and I've been doing everything myself for the past couple of months.
3. Loli Dollies Housing Neighborhoods.
The thought of this guild having a neighborhood for housing has been circling around here for awhile and it's a really good idea. This is something that will happen but not right a way. The guild system will probably have a way so that we can make a neighborhood with the guild's gold. That's why it's so good to donate. blaugh That way, members won't have to donate to one certain person to make one big house or attempt to pick a couple of lots for housing. There is so many of us anyway. A neighborhood for this guild sounds fun, very close to virtual tea parties. <3(8/2/05)The Guild homepage has been updated. I apologize for waiting so long to do this. (3/28/05)The Birthday thread and the Worldwide Lollies thread has been reorganized and fixed up a bit. Although this guild is still not finished, we are working hard to get it perfect for all of you here. It is strongly urged that you give your suggestions or feedback in the proper thread to help us make this guild right for you and future members.(3/27/05)The guild homepage has finally been updated. New coming members who fill out an application to join will now have to view the guild rules and information to recieve the password that must be placed at the end of there application in order to be accepted.
Darkeenya (member) must leave from the guild to tend to her own and she won't be able to update her stickied thread, so Nefarious Vile (me) will recreate The World Wide Lolita's thread.
A real Lolita tea party is taking place in Toronto, check it out. Tea party information!
On another note, some guild members have been duplicated many times. To solve this, the duplicated member will recieve a pm telling them that they have been duplicated and that they will be banned and reinvited into the guild.
I've currently been busy with my own personal graphic website, though once I'm done finished creating it, I'll start working on pixel tea and treats for little guild tea parties. Soon after that an art contest will take place around the same time I will be creating a Lolita website. It will be filled with Lolita goodies and information, based on this guild. A forum will be provided for non-gaia members as well as gaia members. A mailing list will be made for a Lolita web magazine that will be made by me and others. It's exciting and I know the website will have a lot of hits. Although Lolita will be spread from here onto a new forum and website this guild is still very important and shouldn't be left to die, so keep it active! I really want to thank all who are participating and advertising the guild. It's growing so well, thanks! ^^(3/15/05)It's been a struggle trying to think of ways to get our users more interactive within the guild so we have created a Feedback & Suggestion thread. There you can give your opinion on how we, the mods, are doing as well as give any ideas to help get this guild more to your likings.
We are taking a little break to try and come up with ideas, but don't worry, we will still be watching over the guild so don't get too crazt. On other news, the Gaian Ball turned out to be a real blast. We have gained more users from advertising our banner. Thank you to all that did advertise, especially Murasaki Neko for her awesome delightful tea party. Hope everyone had fun and we get to know some of our newer members.(2/6/05)The Link List sticky is now complete and free for members to post new URLs to share. Also I made a simple banner for advertisment of the guild. The banner is under the "Banners" Section of this thread. On another note, the guild has grown in population everday. Though I'm afraid a lot of members will be inactive. Please incourage your members to stay active within the guild to make it more fun!(2/5/05) The Freedom Thread is now back up and introduced to all you fellow Lolita fans. Within that thread you are free to talk about whatever it is you wish. However, along with all other normal threads, you must abide by the ToS. Rules~
One: Be respective to others!
Two: Use your common sense, no spamming, read the Gaia TOS and GGN Faq.
Three: We are pg-13 along with rest of Gaia, keep it in range.
Four: No teen stereotype/labels. We don't want teen boppers ruining lolita with their self labeling noobness. (ex: I am goth and people fear me!1!)
Five: Don't harrass, threaten or call names, this includes mods.
Opinions are okay but don't be so mean and insult other members.
Six: Posting your art is fine, but if it contains nudity please make it a link and provide a warning.
Seven: No scamming! That is a no no, so don't do it here.
Eight: No cybering, take it to pms if you meet someone special. >>;
Nine: Stupidity is a no no as well. A lolita should at least have the manners to type correctly enough so we understand.

What are the Lolita sub-fashions?
Elegant Gothic Lolita
Classical/Country/Sweet Lolita
Industrial Lolita
Elegant Gothic Aristocrat
++Here is the almighty list (Corrected to the best of my knowledge):
-Otarori (Otaku Lolitas. Black and white clothing. Influenced by Manga-Ka and Mr. Mana; they are not considered Lolita by the real Lolitas, because they have it pretty much all wrong.)
-Porunorori (Porn Lolitas, they are also not considered Lolita and other than the fashion part, they have nothing in common with real Lolitas. So naturally, we don't 'accept' them, either.)
-Erorori (Erotic Lolita, similar to Porn Lolitas, they show a lot of skin, which is an erotic type thing in Japan. The Japanese aren't fond of showing a lot of skin, hence the stockings (Though, since I haven't been raised in the Japanese culture, I like tank tops...) They wear a lot of red and black, and corsets, and are bondage-y.)
-Itarori (Annoying Lolita, painfully annoying, they are usually over 30, wear way too elaborate make-up, use super polite language, carry a doll everywhere they go, wear clothes that do not suit them, and are ultra-snobby.)
++Now, real Lolitas:
-Amaloli (Sweet lolitas, pink, baby blue, etc. The more 'colorful' type. Country Lolita fits under this sub-category (there is no real term for Country Lolita, they're merely the ones wearing more country-styled fabrics.)
-- Shirololi (White Lolitas, branching off from Amaloli, they wear all white. However, it is a severe fashion mishap (so so tacky!) if you were to wear a Shirololi styled outfit with big black shoes or boots.)
-- Himeloli (Princess Lolitas (This would be more 'country lolita' They wear floral print dresses, and are very similar to what we'll throw in next. Their hairstyles are very elaborate and wear tiaras; they tend to pocess the "Hime Cut" Cheek length bangs on the side, shorter bangs in front, and long, straight hair)
-- Anchikuloli (Antique Lolitas, very similar to Himeloli, they resemble porcelain dolls of children from the Victorian Age.)
-Kurashiku (Curashikku, Kurashikku) (Classic Lolitas, they are very reserved and their fashion is very similar to Anchikuloli and Romantic Lolis)
-Romantic Lolita (Similar to Himeloli and Kurashiku loli, their style of dress is similar to a European Princess' style of dress, they are fond of bows and ribbons, but are absolutely not princess halloween costumes. )
-Kurorori (Black Lolitas, they're similar to Mana's EGL style. They're not into the idealogy of Lolita, they're mostly in it for fashion. They're cheerful people usually, and are only wanting to be a more gothic version of Amaloli, they go for more of the little girl feel of Amaloli)
-Gosuloli (Gothic Lolita, very similar to Kurorori, closest thing to Mana's EGL. They wear dark velvet clothing with dark make up, like black lipstick and such. Tafeta is also used to make their clothing. They're more mysterious than cute, and they give off the "don't touch" feeling. But unlike EGLs, they are not into the idealogy. They don't try to speak all fancy-like, they're like a dark version of Amaloli, with suffering and sadness. .-.)
-Saibaaloli (Cyber Lolita, think of the Cyber goth fashion done in lolita.)
-Pankurori (Punk Lolitas, think punk clothing (plaid and safety pins) made lolita, like shoelaces instead of ribbon, safety pins instead of bows, and plaid instead of solid fabrics)
**And that's the end of the real Lolita List**
I'll continue on a bit more though, because if you've noticed, EGL and EGA are not on that list.
EGL and EGA are Mana's terms. Mana's fashions. They are not truely Lolita. EGL is Elegant Gothic Lolita, they use the Victorian Lady type image, except dressing more towards the children's victorian clothing. They are Victorians, pretty much. They use long words and fancy speech, and act a s a victorian lady would. They're what Mana feels a woman should look like and act like. EGA, Elegant Gothic Aristocrat, is more of the Victorian Adult clothing, adult dress. For the older people who still want to be EGL, but in a more 'mature' way.
Now, many people use the term 'kodona' for male Lolis. That is not correct. Roriita is a versatile term, it is not strictly for females, so a male loli, is a Lolita (Roriita).

Nope, it doesn't have to be! But the Japanese would probably frown upon it.. unless you are mana anyway. x3

To prevent the issue above, please do not reload after you accept your request into the guild even if you recieve a guild error, you will automatically be added.
