Literate Roleplay. 3-4+ moderately sized paragraphs (multiple sentences). You must be 15 years of age or older to play. I'm sorry. Now that I'm 18 I established that rule.
Cailean had always been the victim of bullying. He was used to being shoved around, bruised, and even verbally abused. In fact, the most popular guy in school began targeting him right as they entered kindergarten when little Cailean made the mistake of crawling into his sandbox. The first sign of violence started when X pushed Cailean into an ant-bed. The torment escalated from there.
X, the scrunch-faced bully, grew up to become one of the biggest, meanest football jocks in school. The lumbering jerk called him names, played pranks on him, and did everything he could to make Cailean feel extremely uncomfortable. For his first three years of high school, the small victim felt utterly alone. He was ostracized by his peers, ignored at home by his businessman father, and beaten down by X.
Now, a senior in high school, Cailean finds himself in an even worse predicament than before. After a series of appearance modifications and acquiring a whole new attitude, Cailean is walking into the new school year looking and feeling better than ever before. A summer in Los Angeles with his uncle helped him gain friends, confidence, and a new perspective. The problem? It seems Mr. Bully has noticed.
-you play X

Cailean had never considered himself a nerd. He was also sure he didn’t fall into the other categories of rejects that were often teased by the jocks. Namely, emos, stoners, and punks. In his mind, he was completely average. Except for two small, insignificant factors: he liked other boys and the most popular guy in school, Jace, hated him...
Apparently, at Carlton High School this truth was enough to make him a social outcast. That and the fact that other students believed him to be stuck up and ‘prissy’-- a detail he resented only slightly. He wasn't. He was a sweet boy. But no one even bothered to TRY to get to know him. The jock made sure of that. As Cailean finished dressing for school, he scanned the room with dull, tired eyes.
Three water bottles, five articles of clothing, and an Advanced Placement psychology book littered the ground. Sighing, the blond bent down to fetch it, placing it into his book bag and beginning his trek out of the house. In the kitchen his father was reading the paper.
A toaster pastry waited for Cailean on the dining room table. It was the man‘s only apology for the fact that he was leaving for another month-long business trip. He debated on grabbing the tasty treat but instantly reminded himself that he was watching his weight.
He had lost twenty pounds over the summer and he hardly planned to gain the chubbiness back. Hell, he’d changed quite a bit. His big blue eyes shined without the glasses to obscure them, his silky blond hair was no longer slicked back with gel, and creamy skin seemed to glow a bit due to the LA sun he had received over the break.
Oh, and he had taken to sometimes wearing girl panties [see photo] under his clothing. They were just so... comfortable.
Leaving the house after a brief ‘good morning’ he walked to his car-- a beaten up Camry. The thought of going to school weighed heavily on his mind. What would this day bring? More beatings or a new name to be called? He shrugged, rolled his eyes, and slipped into the little tan car, driving to school.
He arrived five minutes later and slipped out of the car, hearing some of the popular kids blast their music as they huddled around one of the jock’s cars.
Wonderful. [insert sarcasm]
At least he could live with the false comfort that it was too early in the morning for most people to even think about picking on someone. Everyone was half-dead with exhaustion due to the irregular waking hours of school. Oh, who was he kid. These idiots had enough energy to bother him even early in the morning. They always had.
He made to slip past them unnoticed, hoping to get to his first period early. It was irritating to feel as though he was falling into the same daily trap. He would arrive at school, he would struggle to avoid being harassed in the parking lot, and then he would usually end up crying in the bathroom stalls over a mean comment or a black eye. These guys had torn his self confidence to shreds over the years, especially Jace.
It helped that over the summer he had learned what it was like to have friends. They were far away in Los Angeles where he had stayed with his uncle over the summer, but they were the type of people that ingrained themselves in your mind forever. Not to mention, Vince, his first boyfriend. They still kept in touch even though they broke up as summer ended. Long distance relationships never worked out.

Jace always labeled himself popular, which was the best way he saw fit. He knew others called him a jock, but he was more than that, after all, he wasn't completely stupid, and he had most of the school wrapped around his finger. Yes, popular was the correct word.
There's was worse things that he could be called besides jock, and Jace knew this. He had called Cailean every name in the book, so he new that jock was no big issue. Anything he could use against the tinier young man was anything that Jace would use. From his height to the chubbiness he had, Jace was always the first to point it out.
Not that Cailean was the only thing that Jace thought about while he was out on his normal three mile run in the morning. It's not like he thought about Cailean all summer, or at all for that matter. At least, that's what he would convince himself.
Jace was just coming in from his run, before he took a shower, and styled his hair just perfectly. He was the same Jace that he had been last year, besides maybe a little height difference.
There was no majors changes though. He had kept up his appearances, and was still the top of the top. He planned to stay at the top for the rest of the year, as well.
After getting dressed, and ready for the first day of school, he grabbed an apple, and was out the door. He was easily one of the firsts there, to show off the new car he had actually worked for, and worked on, during the summer. It wasn't the latest of the latest, but a classic that he made sure to fix up to make everyone awe.
Which was exactly what he was doing by the time Cailean had gotten to school. He had put the top down, and now had a swarm around him, while he showed off the stereo system.
If it wasn't obvious enough, Jace absolutely loved being the center of attention.
But that was one of the least of his concerns at the moment, because he was looking for his favorite friend that he had missed, missed teasing, that is, during the summer. However, while his chocolate eyes searched, he still couldn't find him.
Jace hoped that Cailean hadn't decided to finally transfer, but he doubted it, which is why he turned off his radio, and easily made his way out of the crowd, and walked into the school, with most of them trailing behind him.
Like Cailean had guessed, Jace was pumped up in the morning, mostly from his run, and there was no way he could avoid him on the first day of school, which is how he spotted to very different Cailean first thing when he got into the hallways.
Sucking up the shock from the sudden change over the summer, Jace placed his infamous glared on his face, and the next thing Cailean would know, he was being shoved against a locker.
"Hey, buddy. Missed me?" Jace asked, holding him off his feet against the locker with that charming grin on his face while he told himself in way was he happy to be so close to Cailean. He had to keep appearances up, after all, especially with the crowd of popular people around them, laughing and snickering at the scene.

He could sense the tension in the area, as well as their predatory gazes scanning the parking lot. Wonderful. It was ‘mess with the gay boy’ day. He quickened his pace calmly, expression showing no sign of having heard or noticed Jace. The jocks ruled the school and could get away with smoking or picking on other students in front of teachers. That was… as long as the teacher’s could feasibly lie and say they hadn’t seen a thing.
He scanned the crowd of students roaming the campus, making his way out of the parking lot as quickly as he couldn’t without looking suspicious.
The preps walked with a certain air to them. Their steps were too high and their feet hit the floor with too much emphasis, as though they were marching around with over-privileged sticks shoved up their asses.
The normies floated from group to group, breaking into what he could only describe as an upper, middle, and lower class. Whilst some preferred to gravitate towards the preps by the stone steps leading to the entrance, others nuzzled up to the nerds who were hiding out under the school’s large oak trees. The vast population of normies had learned to stick with other normies, talking animatedly in the grass.
Then, there was Cailean. It was truly upsetting that he could get suspended for bringing mace to school-- what with the jerks that attended. Whatever happened to self-defense? He assumed that his safest bet would be to hide out among the normies until it was safe to walk through the empty hallways to his first period class. So much for arriving early. At least he wouldn’t be seen among the mass. Now, all he had to do was reach the school and get off the parking lot cement.
He glanced back over his shoulder to see if the jocks were following him. It wasn’t the team he was worried about. There was something about Jace, the school’s golden boy, that frightened him. Perhaps it was that mad gleam in his eye or that aggressive nature. There had been a time when he and Jace had been friends. It was sad that Cailean still remembered a few instances from all those years ago. Slipping through the crowd of Normies he sighed and shuttered at the thought of what Jace had become since Pre-School. Sure, he was the hottest guy in school but he was also a complete sadist, especially where Cailean was concerned.
Whatever happened to that sweet boy who would push him on the swings or beat up anyone who made fun of him? At the time, before he had gotten a bit chunky, Cailean was very small for his age and easily picked on by the other, larger boys. When had Jace stopped being the guard dog and started being the Head Bully?
Around age five or six seemed about right.
‘Chances are, my locker will be next to his again this year,’ he thought to himself as the bell rang. He slipped into the school silently, a tad bothered by the curious looks he was given. They probably thought he was new. People either hated him or didn’t notice him.
What he didn’t expect was to be suddenly slammed into his locker. He silently cursed himself for not being more… observant. “Of course. It was so hard to go all summer without your fist lodged in my stomach.” he spat back coolly, voice dripping with uncharacteristic sarcasm. A few looked surprised-- many angered. “Can’t we put the ridiculous bullying aside this year, Jace. It’s our last year of high school and this is completely immature. Let me have this year off so I can move on with my life. I’ve never done anything to you-- not once. All I want is some peace and quiet.” These words were spoken in a softer tone.
He didn’t want any trouble, but dealing with a big, perverted lug like Vincent had taught him a thing or two about handling big, aggressive men. Everyone had a weakness. When Jace didn’t release him instantly, he kneed him right in the groin. Other guys around them visibly cringed-- appalled that sweet little Cailean was suddenly fighting back… and in the harshest way possible.
His next move was to get into his nearby AP European History class.

[[My computer still isn't fixed, and this might be shorter than usual, because I'm typing really fast, and I have no spell check.]]
What Cailean thought was true, Jace could get away with anything, and smoking was one of them. You would never tell by how well he was in sports, and he had to have the whitest teeth around, but at any break he could get, he was leaning against the school, lighting one up.
It would be a perfect time to do so now, but he was on a mission, and that was to find Cailean.
It looked like Jace was the perfect mix of normalcy and that high class act. His appearance said he was perfect, but he was always so much more relaxed, and played it off well. Which was why he was admired by most of the normies, and possible some of the lowest rank too.
The only other student he had ever really singled out would be Cailean, since he was always the most fun. No one seemed to take notice that he absolutely favored teasing and bullying only Cailean, but it was obviously there.
It was right to say that Jace and Cailean had once been friends. There had been a time where Jace had playfully proposed to Cailean, as children do.
That soon ended when the small child figured out that same gendered marriages were looked down upon, which is when he started thinking Cailean was gross.
It was innocent back then. As boys picked on girls, Jace picked on Cailean, in that pull your braid and run away to show you like them, but how society picked up on it over the years, Jace had turned it into something different, to hide himself away.
What would have the kids in elementary school thought if he was sending valentines to Cailean instead of Cathryn? Even at that age, he knew he couldn't let it happen.
Which is when things started getting crueler and harsher, and led to today. Where Jace would sleep with any girl, and lash out at Cailean to hide his own insecurities. It's where it all fell apart.
Jace let out a chuckle when Cailean had talked back with sarcasm, it looked like his little friend was being fiesty this year. "I thought so. You missed my hands all over you, f**." He hissed out, until he heard Cailean offer a trus. He looked absolutely shocked.
He still held the petite male against the locker as he comprehended it, and he was about to answer. An answer that would surprise most, utnil he felt the worst, searing pain in his life, and dropped Cailean.
"Mother ******** b***h." He growled out, clutching himself with one hand, as he bent over, one hand on the locker for support.
There was no choice for a truce now, once Cailean had just openly made a move like that in public. His reputation was on the line, and he knew that everyone would be waiting for the next move. Instead of a truce that Cailean had asked, by the actions he commited, he just caused a war.

f**. There was no word in the English dictionary Cailean hated more. Yet, that word seemed to have become his identity over the years. As much as he loathed hearing it spoken from ignorant, teenage lips, nothing he could ever say would make it go away.
The only comfort he had came with the fact that most of these idiots didn’t stand a chance at a real University. The jocks would end up working at gas stations or Sporting Goods’ Stores, the cheerleaders would end up as trophy wives or overweight underpaid secretaries, and the rest of the population might someday be working for HIM.
He wondered how it was that they could treat the boy first up to be their Valedictorian like s**t. After all, he represented the academic ‘excellence’ of their school. Sadly, it seemed everyone looked over that one, important fact.
It was as he was walking to his usual empty table at lunch that he was accosted by the first person who wanted to be his friend in this state since grade school. Victor Manes, the self-appointed ‘school bad-boy,’ gestured Cailean to his table near the back of the room. It was a table full of freaks, outcasts, and all-around rejects-- though they were still higher on the social ladder than he would ever be. Wincing slightly, Cailean wandered towards the appalling group, taking in the facial piercings, leather clothes, heavy makeup, and colored hair.
He hated how these people were respected more than him. It all looked like a desperate cry for attention. “Hey,” Vic growled in a low, over-exaggerated deadly tone as he grabbed Cailean’s wrist and yanked him into a chair. “I liked the way you handled his royal majesty. You’ve got a fire in you that’s kinda sexy.”
Cailean rolled his eyes. Wonderful. The only other homosexual in this school liked to play vampire and had never seen sun. Some might call him shallow, but he had been surrounded by muscular, tan bodies all his life, even if they were beating the sh*t out of him half the time. He was not attracted to any other type, especially not some leech that liked to play tough but would hide and shriek when real danger approached.
Still, it was the best he was going to get. He might as well play along.
“I was scared for my life,” he hissed crisply, leaning back in the chair as the other arched an eyebrow. “It was hardly something I wanted to do. Now, should I leave? It’s not good that your little group is seen with me.”
It wasn’t. Jace was very strict about making sure Cailean had absolutely no friends.
“We don’t give a damn what that douche thinks,” Vic said, smirking smugly to himself. For some reason, Cailean really doubted that.
