Quietus turned his head to Skulduggery as if he just remembered that he existed. He opened his mouth to answer but was interrupted by the small buzz of a phone. It was txt message. He sighed, "Ah..time flies when you're having fun but alas this reunion must come to an end, the story of Skulduggery will have to be left for another time..." Quietus drifted off, "You could also ask my dear Proxy." He reached out to pat her shoulder, Proxy shifted her shoulder away like a repelling magnet. "You b*****d." "I love you too dear sister, till we meet again." Quietus turned to leave, his hand twitched. The surge of blood came to him obediently, peeling itself off the surfaces of the Sanctuary. It condensed itself into a translucent red globe about the same size of the average hand and floated just below his arched hand.

Skulduggery slowly folded his arms as Quietus disappeared. His head turned and looked at proxy expectantly. "Well, that was eventful." Lurid muttered, gazing at the direction in which quietus had left. "It seems that your the one that one leading this mission now, Proxy." skulduggery muttered, in not the nicest of tones. "You will know where your brother is most likely to be, you'll know what his weakness is likely to be... And you know what happened to me." He paused for a moment, taking on a serious tone now, "You know that we will eventually have to take him down. The question is, will you be able to do it? I doubt it. If your going to do this, you have to be professional." he paused for a beat "And you better not betray us," he finished. "because i know how easy that would be."

Alruvian sighed. "Well, he took that weird blood thing, so I guess I could always be bait? sweatdrop "
Back at the Bentley... Valkyrie peered at the other guy she'd noticed going in, finally seeing him leave, it brought a mixture of joy and worry to her mind, Skulduggery and whatever people he'd gathered for this "meeting" were either dead, or they were fine, only time could tell. Finally the group set foot outside the sanctuary. "FINALLY FREE! I've been in that dump full of blood and corpses for aorund 5hours, you know how stressful and warm it is down there?!" Alruvian screemed, he was most certainly not the most incognito person around.

"Eh guys... don't you like need him? He'd be a rather healthy asset... I know you guys don't appreciate Necromancy or any of that s**t, but they toy with dead souls and s**t, we toy with the elements and the natural order of the world, and then there's adepts that just do allsorts of crazy shiet, but what I'm trying to say is, what if Necromancy was the main art and that was all of us walking down a neglected alleyway, I bet you guys wouldn't feel very good, and for some reason I just started a very pompous lecture when my only point to these was he'd be a good 'scout' as it were, and maybe we should get him with us." Alruvian said shocked at the things he himself had said.

Proxy made her way back to the Bentley in silence. She completely ignored the subtle screaming exit the group had made, or just completely didn't notice it. She didn't care, her mind was too focused on other things. Quietus was up to something, as usual but this time...it was to an absolutely different scale. Proxy could feel it, the way that he was acting was just as off putting. She held her head as if it was in pain and walked off from the group. Proxy needed time to clear her head and think. She turned, "You have my number Skul." And with that she headed off.

"Well, your certainly one for subtleness aren't you, Alruvian." Skulduggery muttered sarcastically as they walked out of the exit and into the fresh air... Not that that he could truly appreciate the freshness because he of course, had no lungs. Skulduggery glanced at the direction in which unfortunately had drifted, then looked back to Alruvian. "Are you sure he even want's to be with us? I mean, he would indeed be a good asset. Run after him...if..." he trailed into silence as Proxy walked off. "This must be hard for her." he muttered. "You think?" Lurid muttered dryly, stepping out from behind him. "Don't we need her?" she asked. Skulduggery shrugged "Maybe she needs a little time to herself." Lurid sighed. "The thing is, Mr Pleasant, you said so yourself - She is the one who we need right now. She's the one with all the information." Skulduggery looked at her for a long moment, and then nodded. "See if you can persuade her to come back." Lurid nodded in agreement and slipped into the shadows, vanishing instantly. Skulduggery stood there for a moment, then sighed and leaned against the wall of the old museum as he waited.

Unfortunately paced around the abandoned house he had lived here once, when he, well he tried not to think about it. he had stopped so much living here five or six mouths ago but he still stopped here occasionally to try and get as close to relaxed as he could be. The sofa was mouldy and the cheap TV was half collapsed .The walls were a sea of dry rot, and the carpet was more like a rotting soup than what it was meant to be. Unfortunately almost knew that the others would look for him despite being a bit of an a** he had his uses. All he had to do was wait for there pawn to arrive.
After an hour or so he thought that no one was coming maybe he had all made them up in one of his tormenting fantasy's? Him and his mind were always fighting a mental war with each other . But then his long tongue flickered he could taste cigar smoke, strange. It must of been his imagination, he hated it when it did that.
