Shinju THe nurse smiled at the girl and was about to say something before she was interupted by a voice from somewhere down the hall. "Hey! What do you think this is?!" asked a girl as she walked over to where the nurse was. She was a bit on the shorter side and had her hair tied up in two slightly long pig tails, but the most notcable thing was the stitches that ran all the way around both her arms, makeing it look like they had actually been reatatched at one point. "This is a hospital, not a school! What even made you think that someone here would teach you?" she asked her as she crossed her arms and looked at her.

"I was assuming that someone would teach a fellow medic a couple of basic survival jutsu." The cold front went back up again, and Kiko looked down at the girl, making sure not to narrow her eyes. The slits had slimmed down though, and that wasn't a good sign. "I just need someone to teach me a couple of very basic medical jutsu before the exams. Although, if you can't teach me, then that's fine as well." San repeated the words, eager and happy with her tail wagging furiously. "Fine....as....well..."Tsukiko Theme

Shinju The girl met her gaze and held it for a moment and sighed. "Fine... there's nothing to do around here anyways, there's enough medical ninja... so fine, I'll teach you something." she said simply. It was obvious this girl was a bit... different, and she changes her opinion very quickly. "We can train in the back, follow me...' she said and motioned for her to follow as she walked down the hall once more and out the back door where there was a large open area, perfect for training. the girl walked a little distance, then turned around and looked at her. "What exactly is it you are looking to learn. I know some medical techniques, quite a few actually... so I'm certain I can most likely be of some sort of help." she said as she stood there and waited patiently.

Tsukiko followed behind the girl into the area, taking note in which direction she needed to exit. "I need to learn Kai release, because I know that there will be genjutsu users; and I also need to learn Chakra Scalpel. Whichever we start with is up to you." She nodded lightly, setting San down. "Now, stay quiet ok?" she murmured to her dog, before walking up to the girl, ready to learn.Tsukiko Theme

Shinju The girl nodded as she looked at her. ”Okay, I catually know those, so this will be easy. Oh, and I’m Shinju by the way, or you can call me just Shi, now, let’s start with the harder one, Chakra scalpel…” she said and made a hand sign, then crossed her arms in front of her and they glowed slightly with her chakra, making two perfect chakra scalpels, making it obvious she had practice with this technique before. ”Chakra scalpel involves a lot of chakra control, it’s main pourpose is to cut inside the body without making an actuall incision, this is helpful to avoid infections and such… now this involves both chakra control and a little minipulaton. You need to make it into a small sharp blade, so then that way you can be more accurate…” the girl explained calmly as she moved her arms, showing her how it should properly look when done correctly, this would help to make it easier for her to understand, but when it comes down to actually doing it it will prove to be much more difficult.

Tsukiko nodded, studying the movements that Shi made. “Alright, that seems simple enough.” With a light flourish, she copied the hand signs, and attempted to push her chakra into small, compact blades. The drain was evident-it wasn’t a terrible feeling, just a feeling that had long ago escaped her-she hadn’t used her chakra since she helped with the cleanup of Kumo….A deep breath was all it took, and the blades were gone, the focus lost. Tsukiko took another breath, and made the correct hand signs again, attempting to push the chakra into small blades once again. The blades came, but the chakra control was still pretty weak-the blades were too large for a decent control, and they fizzled out once again. Tsukiko was patient despite the failure-with every failure, something new was learned. It was like taijutsu-focus, focus, focus. Making small blades, though, was a task easier said than done. She frowned lightly, and pushed her chakra into her hands as she formed the hand signs, making sure that everything she did was effective towards a degree of control. Too large a blade would make her lose chakra too fast. Too small and the whole jutsu would be useless. Everything was dependent on the control. Tsukiko concentrated, focusing in on her hands and shaping her chakra. The blades she finally made were of a medium size, nothing too small but usable. Push, push! This time Kiko was pushing towards keeping the blades at a stable level, and she waved her hands around lightly, causing the chakra to shrink slightly. A mental push, and they remained normal again, Kiko moving about with them on her hands to make them stable and usable. She tested them out-a few quick jabs and a smooth swirling motion made the blades seem like a formidable opponent in a fight. A smile grace her face, and she nodded. “I think I’ve gotten the hang of it, Shi,” she said softly, making the blades tone down into small, compacted chakra blades. It wasn’t too draining, but still, the toll on her chakra levels was evident. A military rations pill was crunched between her teeth, giving her a little bit more strength than before. Shinju Shinju watched her carefully as she tried it out. She watched as she got every hand sign right, but when it came down to actually doing it she did pretty bad… It was a bit misshapen, and she was definently straining herself a lot, way too much for a technique like this, but then again it was a difficult one to learn, and she was surprised a genin wanted to learn it so quickly. ”Come on, it’s not that hard… you’re using too much chakra, try more control, and less power.” she said as she watched her try it over and over. It was just too big. ”it’s not a sword, it’s a scalpel, use more control in the shape and size, keep it small and sharp, that’s all you need to do, just remember, small and sharp.” she said trying to coach her and tell her what to do like a good teacher would. She kept her eyes on her s she kept it small and simple, and soon started to get the hang of it, well that was easier then expected, she didn’t really caught on fast. ”Wow, good job… I didn’t think you’d catch ont hat fast… okay, n to the next one.” she said with a clap of her hands. ”Now, to train the Kai release it’s all about chakra…” she explained, jumping right into the next one so she didn’t waste time. ”Genjutsu is made to effect the sences, they confuse you, make things seem real by controlling those sences, so you need to shock yourself out of it. Their chakra will mess with your sences by controlling your own. So you need to stop the flow of chakra all together, then merely apply an even stronger power to disrupt the flow of the caster's chakra, that way you can break the ilusion.” she explained and made a hand sign to demonstrate for her. “A stronger power to disrupt their chakra…” she thought to herself, nodding. It seemed that it would be fine, and she could already concentrate her chakra into her hands, so why not another part of her body? She repeated the hand sign that Shi had made silently, and concentrated. To stop the chakra flow was to die, but to redirect it was another thing altogether…it would take a lot of skill to redirect the chakra that flowed through her veins and her life’s network to another part of her body, then get it flowing again. Where was a good place to start at…? Perhaps her nose? Her nose would be good. If she can’t smell what’s not there, then what else could she do? Perhaps she should try a different body part? Hmm…that was it. Her feet. She should redirect to her feet. They would let her chakra shoot back up into her body as fast as possible, and help her with speed. The hand sign was repeated once more, Kiko murmuring, “Release!”. This was good-she had a strong feeling that she was going to need this in the exams. There were certain areas that used genjutsu as their primary techniques-Sound was one of them. Konoha had quite a few genjutsu users, but not as man as Sound….Kiko could feel her chakra draining down to her feet, making her feel weak and vulnerable for a few moments as she compressed the chakra down to her soles. Everything felt so empty without that chakra normally running through her veins-it was a terrible feeling that Kiko hoped she wouldn’t have to experience more than she had to. With a snap back to reality, she felt the chakra rush into her veins once again with the force of a tidal wave, making her stomach turn lightly as the light hum returned to normal. A quick nod, and Tsukiko felt her strength return to her body. “I hope I never have to use this more than I have to…” she said quietly, blinking and flexing a hand. It felt weird, having the life almost drained from her body and returned almost as quickly as it was taken. Kai Release sure had a drain on her body though-she felt completely weak now, as though she had used up a majority of her chakra by just moving it to another location-she actually had used up a lot. Shinju Shinju watched her carefully as she practiced it. The Kai release was a difficult technique, and some people just have trouble learning it… though it does come quite handy, especially in the exams. It would easily allow you to get the upper hand in a fight with a genjutsu user, as long as the technique was weak enough for you to break, because sadly it doesn’t work on all, but it does help for those it can be used on. She crossed her arms as her blue gaze watched the girl carefully, following her movements and waited patiently as she focused. ”Remeember that all genjutsu work differently. Some will effect certain sences, while others will effect them all, you need to pay attention to the situation and use it to your advantage when using the kai release… freeing all the sences is difficult, but like I said it’s rare to find a genjutsu that effects all the sences. So just practice with a few until you get the hang of it, then try nit with all of them…” she said as she coached her and watched her once more as she made another attempt, she was really catching on quick.

“Some will affect certain senses, some all of them. Gotcha.” Tsukiko nodded, confirming the words and committing them to memory. She repeated the hand signs once more, and smiled. “Thank you. I appreciate the training-I’m positive that it will come in handy.” She grinned, and patted the girl’s shoulder. “Now, I must be going, as I have to go get some more clues..” she said, picking up her dog lightly before looking back at Shi. "Thank you again, for everything..." she murmured softly, San repeating after her. "Thank....you..." A quick dash to the front of the building, barely missing a few nurses, and Tsukiko ran to the front gate, San in arms. C-rank Kai Release-720+86=806/1000-25%=806/750 C-rank achieved!Tsukiko Theme

She felt...alive...with the new knowledge gained at the hospital. Shi looked a lot like Shidou...but that would be considered later. For now, Tsukiko had to get to the Stone village. Perhaps the kage there was as interesting as the one here? She wondered about it as she ran, briefly waving to Shidou before exiting the front gate of the village towards the waterfall. The water was freezing cold, but it felt good-Kiko was always hot blooded to begin with. The cave ended, and the water flew off of Kiko in small droplets as she slowed to a jogging pace, moving towards the forest.Tsukiko Theme
