XD
When I was in elementary school, I got corrected for using the spelling 'cheque' instead of 'check' but my teacher never even said it was an accepted spelling in other places, just marked it wrong. It's what I got for reading a lot and getting mixed up with my spelling. xp

Haha, that sucks! I don't think I ever had a problem with check and cheque, but there are countless others that I've gotten confused in my life. These days, I don't tend to have the problem unless I'm really tired (and even then I'll read over when I'm not tired and throw a hissy fit at myself xd ).

Nefas Fatum "Your grammar is wrong" Ok.. how? Where? English isn't my mother tongue, if you can help me understand my grammatical mistakes, I can learn from it. "Your character's speech is grammatically incorrect" Wow. You mean everyone speaks with perfect grammar? I've since learned to not feel annoyed at people who point out that my character's grammar isn't perfect, but that was a definite annoyance at the time. During my college English class we use to do peer editing. This one girl actually told me to rewrite a quote to make it grammatically correct. I got really pissed at her and lost all respect for her, lol. @Desert I actually prefer British spellings than American. Like how you end words in the past tense with T instead of ED. And your use of U. Love it! mrgreen

Racheling "Programme" is actually British (think it originated from French), but in both America and England, program is the most common and preferred spelling. ^^ I think it depends on the context. I'm English, but I would say a 'computer program' and a 'television programme'. So to me, there's no wrong or right spelling because they're both used.
