Robin was flying through the woods. As usual she was lost...again. So, she flew to the top of the treetop, but could only see endless amounts of trees from all directions. "Drat! That's the fifth time I've come out this far!" She flew back down and sort of panicked started to fly in a random direction before smacking into a tree from not paying attention.

Having just tamed a fight between siblings, that silly Oddetta was going to get her head bit of one of these days, Astor was taking a leisurely flight over the woods. It was good to keep your wing strength up, and he wasn't getting any younger. He was coasting on the breeze when he heard a thump. He turned just in time to watch another duobird go down. Eyes wide, he swerved and dove after the poor bird. He lost her in the flood of trees. "Hey! Hello!?" He called, searching for the other duo, hopping branch to branch.

Robin was flipped on her back. "Oy!" Was all she said at first. Her vision was a bit blurry, but she squinted to see who had called out. "Hi?" She said questioningly not sure if she was hallucinating or not.

Both heads swiveling at the sound of a voice, Astor hopped from the tree and fluttered to the ground, finding the female in disarray. "Oh dear. What happened to you?" He asked. He hadn't seen anything in the sky that would knock a duo down like this.

Robin shook her heads before rolling over to her side and hopping back on her feet while getting a look at the duo bird who had just called out to her. "Well...I'm a bit lost...I wasn't paying attention and ran into a tree since I just dove back into the woods hoping to see a familiar sight."

Astor furrowed his brows. "You ran into a tree?" Confused, he still held himself in a proper manner. "Are you all right. I heard you hit the tree. That had to hurt."

Robin nodded her head, "Yes. Actually my mother always told me keep my eyes up front while flying since things like that can happen." She looked at him then herself. "It did a bit, but I'm ok now. I'm Robin. I think they named me that, because that's the closest bird color I resemble." She put a wing to one head to scratch it. "Or maybe not...I can't remember."

Astor cocked his head. A little eccentric, this female seemed. "You do rather resemble the robin. Though, even without the resembelance, Robin is a very nice name." He bowed his heads gracefully to reply. "My name is Astor. ...I do not know why though." He said with a bit of laughter in his eyes. Maybe he should learn what his name meant.

Robin eventually flew up to perch on a branch so she could see him better instead of being on the ground. "Thanks," she lightly said with a blush. Now it was her turn to c**k her head. "Um...good question. I don't think your name defines you, but sometimes when owners pick names, they tend to based on personality or resemblance to something. There are name books that tell the meaning of ones name."

Astor shrugged lightly. "I'm sure I could find it if I wished to. I don't think the meaning behind a name matters much unless it's a meaning that you give to it." He blinked out of his thoughts and cocked his head apologetically. "However, being named after an honorable item is very good. The robin is a noble bird, bringing tides of spring in it's wake in northern areas."

Robin preened her feathers a bit before stopping. "Really? Well I don't act too much like what I'm supposed to be or what most tend to think I would." She stretched out her wings once she was done. "So what are out and about to this morning?"

Astor nodded. That's exactly what he had meant. "Out and about to?" He asked, one head cocking to the side while the other looked around them. "Oh! Well, I was just, as some may say, shooting the breeze." He chuckled lightly at the primative saying. "I find it quite pleasant to take a leisurely flight after stressing situations. After any type of situation, for that matter."

Robin chuckled a bit. "Well that makes sense. I just...normally I don't come in this far to the woods. The mansion is some miles from here. I know there's a town outside these woods if you can find it. That's what I was looking for."
