Hello Everyone! Please use this post to post your stories about challenging the Azalea Gym The Bug type Gym. Please say which pokemon you used, How many times it might have taken to beat the gym leader, anything else interesting that might have happen, and any tips you might have for defeating the Gym Leader.

I used Totodile,Mareep and Hoothoot for this gym. Geodude was dropped from my team cause i wanted only Johto pokemon for my team. HootHoot did most of the fighting using Peck, while Mareep fought when a Bug pokemon also was part flying type. It only took me one time to defeat the gym leader.

I only used quilava to wipe out the bug pokemon

Quilava and Spearow. Jirachi would have been decent backup, and so would have Flaaffy. I didn't have my Lapras yet (traded in from HeartGold, level 16) but I have him now....yeah I'm going for a very different team than I normally have and no Machop this time around.
