You might want to research about how that date relates to your house or town first. You might want to figure out what the significance of those colors are but I get the impression that the date might be related to some sort of fire or something that got burned on that date.

Isnt the symbolic colors for the God and Goddess Gold and Silver? (In Wicca, at least...)
