Saint Patrick became a saint by driving all the snakes out of Ireland. I like snakes. I'll pass on celebrating the brutalizing of such a nice free-apple giving species. Now someone pick me out of this mud, I am a beating stick and as such should be treated with fear and respect.
(Get it? I'm being a stick in the mud!!! Also I referenced the biblical tale of Adam and Eve where the snake gave Eve an apple. Am I funny now that I explained myself?)
