"Okay." She took the piece of chalk without hesitation. She'd used chalk before, but only on the driveway, never on paper.
Scraping the chalk across the paper was definitely a different feeling from dragging it across ground. The chalk didn't seem to disappear quite so quick when the piece was moved across paper as opposed to the ground. It was also different from charcoal on paper; it didn't crumble or smudge quite as easily. But it still did smudge a bit.
Bleez wasn't sure what to draw anymore so she just started to make shapes of differing shades of grays on her paper. It was interesting to see how the chalk mixed with the charcoal.

Marii just smiled as he was glad that she was haveing fun. Tho he did think on what else to what they could do after this as there was lots they could do. "Also what your doing is very intersting looking," he commented when he looked over at what she was doing.
"So once we are done here is there anything else that you want to do?" he asked as he kept on doing random things on his paper as it soothed his thoughts to help him think more clearly.

"I.dunno," Bleez replied, without looking up from her paper. "Hadn't.really thought.'bout.it." She stopped, looking over her piece. Tilting her head and her paper from side to side she decided it was finished.
She looked up at Marii, "So,I need.ta put.fixative on.here?" She held up her paper so he could see all the shapes and shades. "I'm.done with.it."

"As we can make some mozaie tiles with little shard of differently shaped glass, and there is always playing with clay and then painting it up to make beautiful intersting things," he replied as he thought he would show her once they were done with this.
"Ya it looks very cool," he said as he was done with his which just had a bunch of trees and random things in it. "Come on and bring your picture and we will spray the fixative on it," he said as he walked over to one of the doors on the back wall that lead to a spray booth to were they could hang them, spray them and to let them dry.

This all sounded fun to Bleez. She wondered if she'd have time to do it all or if she'd have to wait for another time.
Bleez carefully picked up her picture. She held it by the corners, careful not to smudge it and slowly walked over to the room Marii was directing her to.

Once to the spray booth Marii opened the door and turned on the fan that gave a little humming sound as he hung up his picture and once Bleez was there he also hung up her picture and then gave both of them a good spray with the fixitave. "Let leave them in there for a little to dry," he said with a wrinkled nose as the spray was a little smelly.
"Come on," he said as he opened another door that had a short table in with different shapes and colored glass and tile. With some of the mozaics hanging on the walls that were mostly done by there mother. "Would you like to do something like this or something different, Bleez?"

Bleez followed Marri in. "Uh... I'unno..." she trailed off, looking at everything. She stopped when they came across the mosaic tables. "Wha's dis.called?" she asked, pointing at the table.

"Those are mozaics at least what my mother told me and they are made of glass and you can arrange them in any way you like when they are done. Sometime later we should do something like them," he suggested.
"Marii and Bleez why don't you come up stairs to have a snack and then set up your room were Bleez can sleep later on," Val called down the stairs to the both of them.
"Come on lets see what type of treat there is for us to eat," Marii said as he did love to eat and he hope that it would be something that Bleez would like as well.

"'Kay!" Bleez followed her friend upstairs. They had a lovely dinner and a rather eventless night. In the morning, Moira thanked Val and Marii both for watching over her little girl.
"Thanks.bunches!" Bleez repeated as she gave Marii a big hug before her and her mother drove off home.
