xxxxIT HAS BEEN SEVERAL YEARS since the time of the notorious hero, Sora, and his comrades... The Nobodies, Heartless, and Humans continue to dwell within the universe. The people of the worlds have intermingled... Spaceships roam the galaxy, but instead of carrying personal transportees, the ships carry freight and soldiers. Each of the worlds have declared themselves as their own kingdom. Wars rage about between rival worlds, while others remain to interact peacefully.
xxxxMeanwhile, the Heartless are being bred by the different worlds/kingdoms. These Kingdoms use Human soldiers, but also unleash Heartless upon their enemies. The Heartless command only to one dark being-- and whoever it is, their location and identity is unknown. Consequently, the Heartless cannot be tamed and follow their only instinct: to attack.
xxxxThe Nobodies are known murderers. Most belong to Organization N (Nobody). Nobodies cannot be born with the power of the Keyblade, but can steal it. The murderer of anyone who possesses Keyblade powers obtains the power, Nobody or not. Keyblade-possessing Nobodies are of great importance in Organization N, and usually make it to high ranks.
xxxxThe Humans are the only race born with the Keyblade power. All Humans are born with this power, but not all use it. Some decide to live quiet, happy lives amidst the chaos of the universe, while others use it to free Nobodies or conquer land. If a human dies, their power slips away and becomes nothing. However, if a human is murdered, the Keyblade power becomes the murderer's.
xxxxThe Power of he Keyblade is a dangerous and often manipulated power. The Nobodies kill for it and worship those who possess the power to assist them. Some people become mass murderers of people with Keyblade power. The more they kill, the more power they steal, and the stronger they become. Some, however, use their power to slay Heartless and defend their world.

Notes to make on the storyline for your understanding:
All humans are born with Keyblade power, but do not all have a physical keyblade. When they kill a Heartless, with their bare hands or, say, a knife/sword/whatever, like a Keyblade would, it turns the Heartless to a heart.
Yes, humans might slay Heartless to defend their world, but it isn't such a significant help to the Nobodies.
In this guild, it takes a lot of hearts to restore the soul of even one Nobody. It goes in order, from restoring the longest-been Nobody to the newest Nobody.
Nobodies are emotionless and gradually gain stronger emotions as their heart is being complete.

If you kill someone with Keyblade power in them, all the power that was theirs becomes yours, and so you grow stronger.
