I really wouldn't change the kiss to a lip kiss. Erik's forehead kiss is very signifigant. He says how he has had all the happiness the world can offer from the simple kiss. It shows how he can be satisified so simply and how all he really wanted deep down in his twisted little heart, was to have the simpliest affections of love. The kiss on the forehead was enough to subdue his emotions enough to realize all that he has done. Erik becomes a very simple and easy to relate to character then. A lip kiss seems more powerful but it really wouldn't be a powerful as showing how frail he is inside. Erik says how he never even got to kiss his own mother on the cheek and how she would force his mask on him, showing that this small simple wish of giving Christine a mere forehead kiss ws the most meaningul event in his life. It shows compassion towards him and makes him more sympathetic.
Just a thought.

This is really unrelated but I am on an ongoing quest for props, clothes, jewelry, anything that looks Late 1800s ish so I can use it in the movie and I scored something today! I was shopping with my hopefully Carlotta to be and I was thinking that's who should wear it because it seems too much for Christine. If Christine were to wear a necklace it would be much more simple than this. Oh and update: Forehead kiss it is.

Ooh, that's really pretty. Very Carlotta-ish. 3nodding
If you're looking for any specific props or costumes or things, tell me... I've got oodles of vintage 1870-1900 stuff.

Thats...slightly odd. but nifty. I really like that Carlottanecklace. It reminds me of the one Minnie Driver wore in the movie.

I saw this other black choker with a little decoration on it that reminded me of the one Jill Schoelen wore in the 1989 one... I didn't end up getting it though. I would've used it for Christine... if that wasn't already implied... Fox, do you have any vintage dresses or suits? I think that's what I will need most. If so could you take some pics for me to see?

Lesse... I can get one tails coat circa 1890 and to two dresses that are a little closer to the 1900's that are in good enough condition to be worn for a film. The problem with clothes that old is that they're generally rather delicate, so most of my costumes are just vintage replicas... But I've been doing unpacking lately, I'll take some pictures. ^_^
If I can raise the money, I've desperately been wanting this 1885 dress in great condition that looks so weirdly like the ALW wishing one. So depending on when you do your film, I may have that.

Okay, I'm officially a lazy b***h... I haven't worked on my actual script in a long long time... and I'm only at the chandelier crash... crying .... I have like... more to do than... I dunno... and I have no idea how I will get the cash to film or pay my actors or what... perhaps I'll end up writing it and selling it to someone... but I'd still feel bad because I really wanted to do this..but I don't think I could ever possibly do this... maybe I'll feel differently when I get to college...
