~ Fincia ~
-Ruler: King Midus Aleran -
- Central city of Gondor, within the lands of the humans. This city lies right next to the fabled mountains of Telryie, home of the vikings. This city has a very stricked law, because in fact King Midus is a corrupt king who feeds off his people and it's technology like a leech. He loves power and wants as much as he can get, though King Midus is not part of The Ring Lords. In secret his advisor Arigon Defry is part of the council, the ones who truly control Draconia. He keeps his council a secret and only watches King's Midus actions, letting him think he rules the city. -
Purpose: Any.

~ Conan the Viking King ~

The day was Midday, the sun was at it's highest speak bearing it's rays upon the many lands. A light breeze slowly gusted through the many buildings of the large city of Fencia, people gossiping about current events, young women buying new cloths for themselves, men working hard on new equipment and within stores, young children learning within the academy. All of them learned about the arcane magic, history, and other school priorities to function outside of the academy. Fencia was a flourishing city for the human, all of them working hard or relaxing the day away. The king himself was sitting on his throne, with his wife holding his hands right next to him sitting in her jewel covered chair.
Though deep beneath the city, hundreds of wicked men and women were held within the hold cells for committing crimes against the city and the king. It's hall filling with angry shouts, soft crying, and insane laughs of pure wickedness. Even farther beneath these cells lies a cell hidden away in the darkness, it's metal door having a large X upon it letting the guards know not to go in without someone of higher power. One out of the two guards who were stationed just outside of the X marked door saw a higher ranking man with a long coat which held a deep color red, easily telling this man was royalty. Both of the guards quickly stood up straight putting there fist on their heart, saluting the Advisor. ”Arigon Delfry sir! The king is securely within the cell and staying quiet.” One of the guards said, his eyes filling with fear.
The old advisor slowly cracked a smile, "Let me guard." He said softly. The guard nodded, quickly he pulled out the man different keys, putting the one key that opened the X marked door inside of the slot. Slowly the guard opened the door, the light from outside of the darkened cell shown a very large man sitting on his knees looking down at the ground. This man was obviously giant sized compared to the humans, his long dark gray beard touching the cemented ground. "Good afternoon Viking king, Conan. I hope your day is as pleasant as mine was..." The advisor said with a wicked smile, the door slowly closing behind him as he pulled out a long needle with a canister at the end of it.
Out within the surface of the city, two ladies were chatting away at a local restaurant. They were sitting outside on the tables eat their meals. "I heard that the king had caught the Viking King." One said with a hushed voice, telling her friend that was sitting across from her. Her body slightly bending over to talk to her. The other gasped, shaking her head slightly. "Oh come on...that’s just a rumor. Though strange things have been happening...I wonder what they are going to do to him.." The other human girl said, both of them suddenly laughing as if it was a joke. No one had respect for the Vikings anymore...

~*~Neasa the Viking Huntress~*~((Pretty nifty title)) Neasa was within the human's capitol. She was on the hunt for Conan. Something all of the vikings had tried, but never succeeded at. She was dressed in her hunting garb. Being taller than most humans, they all looked suspiciously at her. But, since the 'disappearance' of the vikings, the humans were never the wiser. She had her quiver of arrows slung around her hip and her bow across her back.
She was deep within the holding cells of the kingdom. How she got in there, well, that was magic all in itself. She loaded her bow as she trudged on. She reached a dead ending hallway. From previous vikings, she learned there was a spot in the wall that opened to a staircase that lead to their king's holding cell. She shot an arrow through the spot and the door opened. She yanked out her arrow and continued on. Her sandals made the faintest noise against the stairs.
That's when Neasa found it. A large metal door with an X on it. Two guards were stationed outside of the door while she could hear talking on the inside. She pulled back an arrow and shot one guard. He fell to the ground dead, instantly. Just a she suspected, the other guard went to inspect. But before he could see her, she killed him as well. Strolling over, she picked the arrows out of the bodies and returned them to her quiver. She put the bow on her back and looked up. She found a seat of beams. Jumping straight up, she grabbed the beam and hauled herself up. She loaded another bow and waited.

~ Conan the Viking King ~

The noise from outside of the cell could hardly be hear since the metal door was very thick. Arigon gave the Viking a good clean sly look, he gave the Viking King a slight smirk of deviance. ”Alright Conan. You know the drill, I take some of your blood and you just…stay right there.” The Advisor said with a cold tone of voice, slowly walking over to Conan and pressing the large thin needle into the skin of the Viking. A few drops of blood slowly rolled out from the wound, dripping down to the cement ground. ”It might hurt, a lot. Since this time we need bone marrow, I lied. No blood.” The Advisor said, going deep within the arm touching the bone of the Viking King. Conan winced at the sharp stinging pain from the shot, a light growl erupted from his mouth. ”When I get out of here, I’m going to kill you…” The Viking King growled out, he tried to pull the chain from the ground, but it was too strong for him to rip out. He could see the shackles and the connecting gain flowing a faint light blue, showing it was enchanted.
After a few minutes the glass canister of the shot was filled with strange colored liquid. The process of retrieval was finished, the advisor had gotten what he wanted. ”You can try King, but you cannot get it. These were specially made for you.” The advisor said lightly patting the spot where the Advisor had stuck the long needle into him, hearing the Viking King grunt a little. Shaking his head the Advisor opened the door of the X marked cell, seeing the two guards gone out from sight. Little did he know the guards were dead right by him, though because of the heavy darkness it was hard to see. ”Useless guards. I must have them killed for their absence.” The advisor said, slowly strolling off down the darkened hallway. Unfortunally for him he had left the large metal door open, which Conan could see the advisor walk around. With blind fury Conan began pulling against the chain as hard as he could, yelling out in anger wanting to get free. ”Your dead Arigon! I’m going to bring this city down to the ground! You puny humans are insects to me! I will have my revenge!” The Viking King roared out with anger, his voice echoed loudly down the halls of the hold cells.

~*~Neasa the Viking Huntress~*~

Neasa swung herself into the holding cell. She lowered her bow at the sight of Conan. She was only two or three inches shorter than him, so it was quite the sight to behold. She knelt down and lay her weapon infront of her. "I've come to free you, my king." Neasa said in her velvety voice. Her long blond hair flowed to the floor as she kneeled.
Neasa stood and picked up her bow and arrow. She picked out two special golden arrows. They were laced with the highest amount of magic attainable. She pulled the first one back and let it fly into the chains on his left, which disintegrated. She pulled back the other one into the right chains, the chains disintegrating as well. The arrows had disintegrated in the process, something they were designed to do.

~ Conan the Viking King ~

After he had yelled out, he took a deep breath taking a few last tugs on the chains. He knew his strength couldn’t break these enchanted chins, they were specially designed to hold the Viking king down using old ancient arcane magic. He hated magic with a passion, it was a cowardly tool to use in his opinion. Within the darkness he suddenly heard someone feet hit against the cemented ground of the hold cell area, slowly he looked up to see a very tall and beautiful Viking girl stand right in front of him. ”By Crum! Another Viking!” He said happily, his voice was deep and powerful. With careful eyes he watched the Viking girl take out special magic enchanted arrows that held a golden tint to them, when she had shot them at the chains he could feel them release the tension on his arms. Quickly he pulled his arms up, getting his body off his knees. When he had finally gotten up his body cracked loudly because he was in the same position for many months on end.
When the Viking King had gotten up his body stood over hers, he was only about a few inches taller. He could easily tell she was a Viking just from her smell, her structure, and of course height. Looking down at her slightly he smiled wide and gave a huge booming laughter of joy, finally free of his chains. ”By Crum I thank you young one!” He said with a loud powerful tone of voice, quickly he wrapped her arms around her body giving her a old fashion Viking hug. Many would have died from being squished to death, only if they were not Vikings. Due to Viking nature and strength, Vikings could survive the Viking bear hug which all Vikings had done in the time of joy. It was basically tradition to them. After a few seconds he finally released her, setting her on her feet once more. ”Lets get out of here, I want to see the sky and smell the fresh air. Being in this dumb sickens me down to my stomach. Not even Crum would stay down here for very long.” Conan said with a deep tone of voice, quickly he walked out of the dark holding cell and quickly walked down the hall. ”I don’t think my memory has gotten back to me, how did you get in young one?” He asked her, now turning his body around to look at her and scratching his head lightly.

~*~Neasa the Viking Huntress~*~
Neasa smiled happily. "From the stairs, of course. Well, after disposing of the two guards out front. The humans didn't really care to stop me when I entered their city. But you, on the other hand my king, would be ever so noticed. I hope your strength can be of use to you whence we leave this place." she said with the utmost respect. She slid her bow onto her back and began walking towards the staircase that she had come down from.
Neasa turned to look at her king. "Coming, my lord?" she asked quizzically, looking at him stand there. Her blond hair hung down just above her knees, and swayed slightly in the breeze of the underground. She was almost jumping with excitement as she was the viking to save their king. The only one who would return alive. Hopefully.

~ Conan the Viking King ~

Quickly the Viking King looked over to where the stairs were, they were hidden by darkness but still had good visibility on them. He then looked over to where the young Viking girl stood, nodded slightly. ”I see Crum has guided your way. Don’t worry, we will be out of this forsaken city in no time.” Conan said with a deep voice, pounding his bare chest which made a deep sound as he did so, giving her a promising look. The Viking wondered how she got to this earth or was she one of the few Vikings that actually didn’t vanish, which was still a puzzle ever for him to full wrap his mind around. Maybe Crum had decided that leaving some would help at least the world out just in case something bad had broke out, like a ancient demon or a monster that was terrorizing the lands.
Suddenly he broke out of his train of thought and watched as the young Viking girl, he could see her already running up the large staircase that lead out of hold cells. Hearing what she said, quickly he nodded to her motioning he was coming. Quickly the large Viking King ran after he, running up the stairs along with her he could hear his steps thumping very hard against the cement ground. He could see the other doors which lead to the other levels, he didn’t want to venture forth into those levels he wanted to get out of the holding cells area. After a while he finally saw the door that lead to the building which they brought the criminal in, which was actually the main human building. The king was about almost forty levels above them. When he had gotten near the door he punched it right off it’s hinges making it fly off. When he had committed his action the guards scattered in the building looked towards the door, quickly they ran after them with shields drawn and spears. Smirking the Viking King ran at them in full sprint, ”What a good day to fight! Crum shall watch us battle!” He roared out with pride, seeing a few guards thrust their spears at him. Quickly the Viking King grabbed the staffs of the metal pole of the spear, he could feel the energy against his hand.
With sudden movement, he threw the guards against the wall making them let go of the spears that had in hand. Being a natural at spears, Conan began to twirl the two spears around. A few guards stopped in their tracks intimidated by the actions of the Viking King, slowly they took a few steps back. Growling the Viking King threw one of the spears right at one of the guards with immense speed. Before the guard could dodge the attack his chest was pierced by the spear, the spear had dug into the ground making the guard choke on his blood as he was pinned down by the spear. ”Hah! Puny humans are no match for the strength of the Vikings!” He said with a booming voice, laughing in a victorious laughter.

~*~Neasa the Viking Huntress~*~ ((Think we could work some romance into the Conan/Neasa relationship sometime? Whenever, I mean.))

Neasa smiled. "Excellent. Let's just hope the authorities don't catch us because of your booming triumph. Err...no offense, my liege." she said, biting her lip and blushing for partly insulting him. She pulled back and an arrow and shot it through two guards. Being larger than the average human, made her arrows larger and more dangerous. She sauntered up to the bodies and yanked the arrow out, wiping the blood on her bare leg, not even minding it.
Neasa's eyes widened at the oncoming militia. "Di Immortales!"(curse the gods) she said, staring at the group of about 30 human military men with..you guessed it..guns. 30 humans with swords or axes, she could handle. Guns? Not so much. Although, being a viking gave her tougher skin. She bit her lip, not thinking she'd make it through alive. She took a deep breath and pulled back an arrow, letting it fly through about six men.

~ Conan the Viking King ~

Making a light growl towards what Neasa had said to him, partly insulating him. Though within seconds he forgave what she had said to him, because she had saved him from his eternal shackles that had bound him by chains and also being a Viking. He couldn’t be mad at any of his Viking kind, because he knew Vikings are a race of respect towards their own. Seeing her take out two guards with her larger then normal arrows, he looked around the building trying to find an escape route they could take. He knew the humans would come with more men and different types of weapons that not even Conan has ever seen before. When Conan had came back to the world he already noticed the humans were advancing in technology and lifestyle, though he never thought they would have advanced this far. Out of no where he heard the front doors of the entrance to the building shatter with a large explosion, only to see about thirty human soldiers holding a variety of different weapons. Some being energy swords, weird style axes, and what looked to be a weird shape range type weapon. Conan never saw a weapon like the ones they were holding, his left eye widen with shock. ”By Crum’s sword! What weapon is that?! It looks like a coward’s weapon to me!” The Viking King said loudly with a booming voice, not wanting to be hit by the weapons.
With sudden movement he swooped Neasa into his arms quickly putting her on his back for her to hold. ”I’m going to make an exit.” He said deeply, quickly running towards the left sided wall. As he did so a barrage of blue lasers shot right at them both, though only to miss as he ran. Quickly Conan ran and when he came upon the wall he threw his fist at it creating a large hole. Conan quickly ran through it, now seeing the large city flourishing with life and many different sounds. ”By Crum…this world has changed a lot..” He said with a soft deep voice, his left eye widening once more at the shock. Shaking the amazement out from his head, he quickly ran through the streets not really knowing where to go. ”Young one! Where is the exit to the city? We need to reach the Telyrie mountains!” Conan said with a loud tone of voice, quickly glancing over to her then back forward.
OOC: (( Sure, I think we can do it. Though it's going to take some time lol. ))

~*~Neasa the Viking Huntress~*~

((Hmm. Okay.))
Neasa held onto his back for dear life, getting hit in the head with a chunk of cement. "Ouch! I'm okay!" she said, rubbing the dust from her hair. She looked around where they were, trying to figure out the best way to go. "Uhh. East! East is the shortest route!" she exclaimed, pointing to her right. She jumped off of Conan's back. She could run from here.

~ Conan the Viking King ~
When she had pointed out that the nearest exit to this large human city was east, he quickly nodded. Quickly he began running towards that particular direction, his speed was fast, but being a male Viking he mostly dealt with strength. Running as fast as he could, he could hear soldiers yell after him shooting laser towards their direction. Suddenly he had watched and felt Neasa jump off his back, running a bit faster them him. ”Once we get out of this city, we should be safer in the forest. Unless you have any other place we could go.” Conan said with a powerful tone of voice, quickly looking back to see about twenty guards after them. He noticed many of the human people looking at them with shock and almost disgust to see a giant Viking such as himself and of course Neasa running with them. Within twenty minutes he could see just the outskirts of the city in view point, he could see green plain’s up ahead with a forest just in the background of the plains. Going towards those forest would be the best way to get away from the human guards.

~*~Neasa the Viking Huntress~*~

Neasa ran up slightly ahead of him. She dove into the forest, being completely engulfed in magic. Before she'd left, she'd set a portal in the entrance of the forest. It would take them back to their land once they went through it. She opened her eyes to see the snow capped mountains of Telyrie. She turned to see Conan stumbling through the portal. She smiled sweetly. "Welcome home." she said softly as many vikings rushed up towards them.
((Should we now continue this in Telyrie?))
