LavanderLoli I love it when the media mentions Lolita. Random story: A friend I met at a con said that she went to a concert and asked the singer to sign her bag. It was a Baby bag, and the singer said "Whoa. This is a Baby bag. Are you sure you want me to sign this?" "Yes." "Are you sure?" "Yes...!" "Are you really, really sure?" "Yes!" She got it signed. What singer was it?

I checked out the Incubus video, the lolita's are in the very begining and the very end for like a split second, they were cute I wish they had appeared more in it 4laugh . As for Lady Gaga I'm not sure what you are refering to, Im a huge fan of her but I dont remember seeing anything lolita? Are you referring to her lace cuff/bracelets? XD I'm takin a wild guess, I'm not to up to date with her styles as of recent.

I really liked what she did with her lavender ensemble though, it was really cute in my opinion. I loved lady gaga's white outfit too, but the ganguro makeup just killed it for me. I know she likes to go crazy with fashion, but ganguro doesn't really appeal to me aesthetically standalone, lolita aside.

Yeah, she was super tan, but she had the white eyeshadow, etc, here, like this. I suck at describing it.

before i was kindof ok with lolita being mentioned. but i gotta say. Now i kind of get annoyed. When i talk to people and i explain lolita to them, they get all weird saying that its childish, weird, dumb, looks like costumes, well you get the point. But then they see it on the media and they are perfectly fine with it and say its cute. Why is it that if a normal person does it, then that person is weird and all, but if its on the media its suddenly ok. Most people don't even know its lolita but find it cute..that is until you say its lolita.
maybe its just people who live near me but still it annoys me a lot.
haha sorry kindof long i think xp
