This is a private RP between Van [Kurama no Koishi] and Kyung [Koco Pelli].
Setting:
The Imperial City - Artisans Path
A quaint music shop sits near the end of the street, unassuming compared with its ostentatious neighbors. Inside, Van is paying for a small service.

It had been too long since Van last touched her đàn tranh. She'd been studying and training too hard since her admission into the Academy to find time to herself to play the zither she'd fallen in love with. And when she finally had, the poor stringed instrument had fallen horribly out of tune with the passage of time. Rather than fix it herself, though, Van decided that taking it to the shop for a tuneup was worth the time and money expended. After all the weeks of neglect, the instrument deserved some pampering, didn't it?
Still, Van had taken it upon herself to stand by and listen while the other Lunarian worked on tuning the numerous strings that stretched across the instrument. Each string had to be tuned to the perfect frequency - Van's sharp ears could hear the knobs tightening and loosening the strings, pulling the plucked notes closer to the correct sound, until its note no longer jarred the air and instead sounded exactly the same as the model note. As the last string was tuned to the finest point, Van nodded to herself, concluding that she was satisfied with the other's work.
Cleaning and polishing the instrument was not nearly as delicate a matter as actually tuning it, so the girl turned to roam about the shop. The place was small, homey, but it was among the best on the Artisans' Path for finding unique, exotic instruments, and for its service.
Van would have nothing but the best, and this was evident by the interest she showed in the shop's wares.
Yet, another beautiful instrument caught her eye, one that rivaled her own đàn tranh. She wasn't sure what exactly it was, though, and moved closer to examine it. As she approached it, another Lunarian strode through the doors to claim it, cutting her off before she could get to it. Whatever it was, it certainly belonged to a pretty girl, Van thought, surprise registering in her features. Perhaps she'd inquire as to its origins.
