Well, I've been watching alot of animes lately. And just recently rewatched Hunter x Hunter. And its 2 musical. (Which are hilarious!)

And I was looking at some the the voice actor/tress other works.
I think the most surprising one I found was Hiroki Takahashi which he was in;

Prince of Tennis (Eiji) Vid - First 2 songs = Eiji
Hunter x Hunter (Hisoka) Vid
Katekyo Hitman Reborn (Squalo) Vid (At 0:35 second in)
And this one

Some voice I don't notice until after knowing who they've done, then I start noticing the similarities. e.g Gon (Hunter x Hunter) is the same voice as Lambo (Katekyo) and Naruto. But I didn't notice until afterwards. (Probably because I don't like/care about the other characters)

And there are some voice which I recognise instantly. Like Junko Minagawa who does voices in Loveless(Ritsuka), Prince of Tennis (Ryoma), Mermaid Melody (Mikeru, which is the only one that I did not know til recently) and Pandora Hearts (Oz). Pretty sure there were other but these are the ones I could think of right now.

- Anyone you recognice easily?
- Anyone that you are surprised that they are the same voice actor/tress?

the fun part about voice actors is that there's different kinds. there's the kind that has a lot of vocal range and never seems to play any similar part, the kind that doesn't have much vocal range but still manages to play many different characters, the kind that get pigeonholed into into a certain character type but make it work for them, etc.

the ones that fascinate me the most are the first two kinds, especially since i have a tendency to imagine the different characters they play interacting or even switching series. one voice actor in particular that scares me is Daisuke Namikawa. first we have Ulquiorra from Bleach...and then BOTH the Italies in Axis Powers Hetalia (including the theme song!). mood whiplash in roles, i tell you O.o

I usually don't pay much attention to voice actors, but I keep noticing Tim Curry
popping up in various cartoons.

I think I recognize a voice quite often, but I'm rarely right. sweatdrop I do a little dance when I am though. whee

Yes, I've noticed, lol. I saw those in another video with some other character/stuff he did. Most surprising.
