(Odd how I write better talking to myself^^;;; )

Two threats on lockdown, Hei's gone, and the thought to adjust herself to her life with Tomomi gone. They're what she had to take care of- those were the primary concerns she had to simmer on while she entered her office. This was going to be incredibly ridiculous- no, the whole day was ridiculous with the situation as well. And to think, it was just the begining. This whole situation just seemed to have gone from shitty to hell as soon as they arrived to Hei's gravesite. They were new enemies to face, but she soon realized that was not something new. Nu stopped by her wardrobe to change out of her black outfit, slipping into something more comfortable as she fell to her chiar with a soft thud. They were matters to attend to and only a few hours of time to prepare. It truly was an unfortunate turn of events.

The pink haired girl sat quietly on her chair, one leg crossed over the other. You couldn't tell how much she hated this by just looking on her face. The woman just sat still, her arms crossed over her chest and her eyes closed. She slowly opened her eyes upon hearing a bird's call but quickly dismissed it as she thought once again. Nu could already tell that she wasn't going to sleep well tonight, there were plans to put into place and training to be done. Even Tsukiko, although having just obtained her newest rank, will likely be busy with her own agendas. Her plans were something secret, but with the information she had gathered thus far, she could get a good idea on her motives. Both Yuki and Tsukiko were key to their survival, that much she knew. "To think this would happen now, of all times.." The pink haired woman stood up, keeping her arms folded and feeling her sword hit her knees while the sheath shifted. "Might as well get some practice in while I still have the luxury of time." This truly was a lose/lose situation for all of them.

Nu sighed, letting her arms fall down to her sides. Her abilities were certainly going rusty these days. Yet, if she gave up now, she would be a failure as a Captain. There seemed to be no way out of this. Her eyes refused to look in the direction of her training grounds, just outside her windows, trying to avoid looking at the spots left by her previous spar with Tomomi. Looking at the them wasn't going to help her or anyone else in his return, and she knew that. The captain just took a deep breath, biting the inside of her cheek. But of course, her zanpakutou had to distract her thoughts. "Doing nothin won't bring him back, why not train, distract your mind?" Nu's fists tightened, turning her head slightly to look at her manifestation out of the corner of her eyes. "It bugs the hell out of me to know what I am feeling all the time!." The pink haired girl said harshly, watching the spirit calm emotion, causing her to grit her teeth and turn towards her. It took her a moment, but she spoke again, not wanting to have to deal with a spirit that was going to act like, well, a therapist. "I know, I know, and I apologize then, let's just spar, alright?" And with that, she leaves outside her door to her own sparring ground, pondering on new techniques she may try out.

Nu returned to her office in relatively well spirits. All day she had spent working up a good sweat, and she decided to reward herself for it. Walking slowly outside to her bathhouse, she carefully feels the water's temperature with a lone paw before accepting it with a purr and pleasant shake. Going back to her office, she loads up a fresh pair of clothes, as well as some towels for her bath on her back, lugging the heavy burden to her reward. Shaking off the clothes to the side, she walks down the rock steps into the steamy water, her small feline frame soon enough being overwhelmed by the relaxing temperature or the steamy waters. She found it more comfortable to travel in this newest form. Noone bothered to look at what appears to be a common cat, and her voice allowed her to play tricks on her squad, when she felt lax enough to. With her cat form, she found her thoughts a tad more primal, which may be why she seemed to enjoy resting more in this form. She tried to recap the day's events in this calming setting, keeping her mind away from sleep. Tomomi was somewhere Au-sama knew, but at least that meant he was safe, at least she hoped. Over her fight with the boy, he seemed much more relaxed, more carefree then she thought he would be, and finally, in a calmer state of mind, did she understand that he was teaching her as much as she taught him, or she supposed anyway.

Sinking a bit deeper into her warm water, she closed her eyes, her thoughts melt to fully enjoy her bath.

Nu was dreaming in the warm water, a habit she hadn't learned to break as of yet. In her dream, all was serene and peaceful, the setting somewhere along a meadow of some sort. In it, a shadowed man was treating Nu to lunch, apparently acting as though long lost friends. Nu, suprisingly in a summer kimono, was thoroughly enjoying herself, the unseen man being both sweet and kind with his ctions and words. When Nu needed something, the man seemed to tend to her every need, causing the captain to be quite flustered in front of such a gentleman. After the lunch, they sparred, a good workout that left both of them slicked with sweat and smiling with the satisfaction of their battle; it was everything Nu was looking for in someone. To be both strong and independant, a rare aspect in people Nu was seeing less and less of these days. Just as she was about to be wrapped in his embrace, her focus seemed to slip. The man's form seemed to liquify, and the sweet garden darkened to black. Her dream broken and reality slipping back, she seemed to lose the ability to swim, sinking slowly as she pancked in her feline state. It was only after a few minutes that she resurfaced, panting softly as she looked around, glad noone was around to see her display of vulnerability.

The voice of Tsukiko was already ringing in her ears, making her realize, much to her chagin, that it was all a dream, and it was back to work for her. "Well, seems its time...." Stepping out of the tub, she sighs deeply as a puff of smoke enveloped the wet cat. Among the smoke, a hand was outstretched, grabbing two towels before the plume faded, revealing a naked captain. "And I was just starting to enjoy myself...." With another sigh, she begins to dry her hair, rubbing her wet hair with a towel while walking to her clothes. Her humble measurements, she treated as a burden, were starting to annoy her once again. Slipping her outfit on slowly, she looks around, the steam already begining to dampen her clothes. Walking over, she turns off a switch from behind a mini waterfall, stopping more water from pouring through. Grabbing her sheathed sword, as well as her Captin's haori, she dissapears in a shunpo, only the swirling of mist caused by the highspeed movement signaling her movement.

                                              ll Exit~ ll
