Alberon's steps were small and light, tiny hooves taking him easily and swiftly over the grass covered ground beneath them. Encountering only a few pebbles and ditches along the way as he followed the path of the stream. It was a new season, a new spring, and he was looking forwards to finding his favorite spot! His parents called it a fairy ring..All the flowers seemed to show up here first at the beginning of the season. All colors and shapes and sizes, in great bushes and bundles..It was almost like his own personal garden, all nature made.
Alberon couldn't help but smile as he crossed the stream and came upon it. The sun scattered by the high leaves above giving off little patterns of light everywhere. The flowers already all around and in full bloom. His brother would think him so girly if he found out he did this, went about flower hunting, hah! "Mnn..they smell good though.." he mused quietly to himself, approaching the first bush full of small red flowers and berries, burying his nose in it as he inhaled the fresh scents.

Shaeleria was still sleeping in that morning. The cold dew was still lingering on the leaves and blades of grass. Soon they would dissipate into the midday sun. The warmth of it already beamed down on her petals and leaves. She was beginning to wake when she felt something atop her head..Then she heard it take a deep breath.
"EEEP!" she squealed, immediately awakened by the unexpected presence. She bounced up and a few steps away from whatever it was and jumped behind a small sapling, as if it would hide her. She took a good look at the...phyri. And a child at that! Oh how foolish and embarrassing of her to be frightened of a phyrefly. She sighed with relief however, and moved away from her hiding place to greet the babe.
"Good morning, little one." she said, though they weren't too far apart in height. "My name is Shaeleria, you gave me quite a fright." she giggled.

Alberon yelped, stumbling back away from the squealing bush and stumbling over his own legs in the process. Ending up flat on his bum, gawking in amazement at the strange creature before him.."O-oh.." some bright red thing intent on hiding..though it was doing a poor job of it. "G-good morning to you too, I think?!" he gasped curiously, tilting his head this way and that, watching it move from different angles..hed never seen such a thing before. Such an odd pretty flower creature..
"Scared you, haha you scared me!" he giggled softly as he got to his feet, brushing himself off gently "I guess we scared each other huh, though...I am sorry...if I ah frightened you" he hardly saw himself as scary, then again she wasnt scary either was she? Just a cute flower creature, no bigger then himself. "Im alberon! It's very very nice to meet you shaeleraiaaa...erm..Shae! Hee hee, shae is easier.."

"Shae is easier, isn't it!" giggled the little homunculus. She nodded at the same time and moved closer to inspect the phyrefly. She wouldn't admit it, but this was the first time she had seen a young phyri. She's passed by the older ones plenty of times, but now that she stood before a phyrefly she couldn't help but stare. She moved side to side, up and down, taking in every aspect. His mahogany coat, golden hair, and the lovely little string attached to his tail. Smiling, she gave the string a gentle tug. "What is this for?" she asked.

"Ahh! That's my tail string! My little string, it follows me everywhere haha..My father says its fate that's tied to my tail. My family..mom and dad..my siblings, we all have a little piece of fate tied to use, and it keeps us all tied together even if were far apart you know? Our own little life line.." he gave a happy little shrug, swishing his tail back and forth for effect, watching his little ribbon swish and sway.
"Shae is much much easier..I gotta know tho..is..are? What are you!?" he asked excitedly, running his eyes over the pretty flower maiden. "You look like a talking flower, though much much prettier, and you smell so good too!" the phyri grinned brightly, rather amused with his own description of her. It was true though, it was the smell that had gotten his attention in the first place, and drawn him out over there to the bush.

"Oh! My apologies.." Shae cried, not wanting to distress the phyrefly. Then she smiled at the little string as he swished his tail. It was such a delightful trinket. Her eyes darted up to view his face as he asked his question. What was she? Well that was obvious! To her anyways.. she supposed that a phyrefly would not know..
"I am a purity homunculus~" she giggled, flattered by his compliments. "I was made from a spell, blessed wax, and yggdrasil dew or so i hear, but who created me, i do not know."

"Ooh..that sounds..that sounds very pretty!" alberon purred softly, face filled with wonder as he stared at the homunculus. A flower that was not a flower, though still she smelled so sweet. "A spell, like magic? Thats so cool!" he cheered leaning forwards and moving to his tip toes to touch at the soft flowers that adorned her hair. "Spells and magic, so neat..I wish I could do stuff like that, and had soft petals all over me. Then I'd smell good all the time, and mommy wouldn't wish me to take so many baths for getting messy" alberon huffed, snickering as he circled the little humunculie.
"So if you dont know who made you, do you at least know where your from? Or have you always been here, Oh oh oh are you hungry!! Maybe we could get something to eat and chat I never have enough people to chat with..." he went on tail swishing as he spoke, completely in awe of his newest found friend.

So many questions this young one had! It made her happy to see him so excited about little old her. She giggled, holding her small hands to her cheeks. "Yes, magic, that is what others have told me. Isn't it just grand? But oh how I wonder what it must be like to have come from a mother. I would call my creator that:Mother. Unless it were a man! Then I would call him father!" she said, laughing again. She bent slightly to allow him to touch her roses, as long as he didn't mess them up. She would spend hours some days to arrange them in just the right way.
"From what I can tell, I have always resided in this forest..." she replied, and then her stomach growled quietly. "I suppose I am hungry indeed! Won't you lead the way?" she asked, giggling and blushing because of her stomach's gurgles.

Alberon ducked his head sheepishly as shae laughed, belatedly realizing that his questions might be a tad bit overwhelming, he was always talking so much, always so curious. Sometimes he just couldn't help himself as he babbled on. "I-It is grand, at least I think so too. Someday I hope to have more magic of my own, haha like my siblings and my parents. They're all so..so good with it" he giggled softly along with her. Enjoying for a few more moments the soft feeling of the petals before letting his hands fall away..A bit saddened to hear that the little female did not have a mother or father, how lonely..Though she seemed so bubbly and not sad at all.
"Ooh, always! That's wonderful to hear, the forest is my favorite place you know, most most favorite of all." Grinning happily as he playfully poked at her stomach, giving a slight wave to follow. "Come along then, I'll happily lead you to food, we eat all sorts of things. Mint leaves, and then theres the berry trees..Ah, what kind of food do you prefer? Oh! Do you like Honey Miss Shae?"
