I already posted in LI about my abusive ex-boyfriend here (http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11518753) and got a good response, and got to just talk to people. Which is why I'm here essentially. But I just wanted to ask a few questions.
1. When my boyfriend hit me, he told me to hit him back. I think he got a sexual kick out of it, and I didn't want to feed that so I didn't. One day I did hit him back, as he told me that if I didn't he would just keep hitting me. And then he tried to turn it on me, saying I was violent.
2. Was what I was talking about rape?

I'm confused about your 2nd question - is it referring to your thread in LI, or is it referring to the first question in your first post in this thread? whee
If you're referring to your thread in LI (about whether or not that was rape), I would probably say yes it would count as rape. Although personally, if he was threatening to leave you if you didn't have sex with him, I think you should've left him and to hell with what he would've said. But that's just my 2 cents.
Have you considered looking into getting psychological help/counselling/therapy of some sort? It might help you to talk to someone who is licensed to help listen and treat people's problems.
Also, call the police about your ex, if it might make you feel better. You can get a restraining order (in case he ever comes back), and you could charge him with rape if you have enough evidence to prove it.

if when, he made you have sex with him. meaning you said no and he didn't stop. then it's rape. or, maybe because he was hitting you, you feared for you life, and didn't say no becuase of that. so yes under these and maybe other situations, it can be considered rape.
