Pale, soft green eyes watched the young man with some amount of curiosity. It seemed as though he'd like to say something, but was either unsure if he should, how to word it, or even at a lose for words. Which of course made Shin think back to their brief encounters. She was well aware that her request for clean water and following extreme cleanliness were indeed odd, but had no clue it'd cause this sort of reaction with someone.
Generally people either figured it out for themselves, or asked her, which Shin supposed she didn't mind. It didn't seem like Jianyu was willing to ask though.
She smiled at him, trying to be friendly, and tipped her chin in a subtle bow. "Thank you, and be safe as well. Until we meet again." They were both in the academy, chances were high they'd run into each other again. So it couldn't hurt to leave on a friendly note, right?

Though still confused, Jianyu inclined his head in a brief bow, following the custom of showing respect towards the other young woman. Shin-mu was indeed an odd person, though polite and dignified and Jianyu was certain that he would most likely run into her once more. After all, their ages were obviously near one another, and they both attended the Academy, which implied more than one circumstance in which they would meet again. Jianyu's brows drew together slightly as he scrutinized the young lady, but he smiled at her well-wishes.
"Thank you." he said as he turned to leave. "Please be well."
And then, with a last quick nod, Jianyu stepped back and walked back into the crowded throngs of the Artisan's Path.
