You mention a need for a civilian. I do not know what sort of qualities you are looking for in a civvie, but I have two to offer.
Howl - you should be familiar with him due to my plot thread and junk :B
Yvette - she actually had the ability to sense youma, but when she senses youmas, she essentially can't move around right. Think of it as a semi-paralysis sort of deal? She makes an EXCELLENT victim if necessary.
