Journal Entry 3 (Child Stage)

Well...going to the dance wasn't such a bad thing after all. I know that I fought with my Mom a bit about it and really didn't want to go, but I actually did make some friends and had a lot of fun.

I met Mira and her brother Aiden as well as Andy. I liked all three of them a lot. I ended up getting to dance with Mira which was really fun. She's really nice too, and pretty. She has powers where she can see your aura and tell how you feel, which is useful because she's blind. I think she has a nice smile too.

Uh anyway, the night was mostly good except this annoying girl in black. She seemed to go out of her way to make everyone miserable. I don't understand why. She scared Mira, and then me, Aiden, and Andy went to go find her. She was by the lake staring at the stars. I wonder what she saw up there. Then Andy and Mira ended up in the lake. I ended up going in and helping Mira since she doesn't know how to swim.

After that we went to Andy's room so her and Mira could have something to change into. By a mistake I saw Mira in her underwear. It was really embarrassing, but I was kind of glad I did because I know that you're not supposed to look at girls in their underwear. It turned out that now Mira and Andy are roommates and now Aiden is my roommate. Mira and Aiden didn't have a place to stay. I'm really glad Aiden is my roommate. I like him a lot, and now my room isn't lonely anymore. I hope I get to spend more time with everyone, especially Mira.

I'm really glad I went to the ball. I'll have to thank Mom for making me go next time I talk to her.

Journal Entry 5 (Teen Stage)

Looks like I haven't kept that promise to keep writing in here. I suppose it's just as well. I think looking back at some of the things I had to say would have made me mad later. I'll give a brief overview of the past before moving onto some more important things.

Well, there is one important thing I wanted to note and not breeze over. Aiden has decided to change her body to match who she is. I don't know if that's the right way to put it but she now has a girl's body. We're still rooming together... the school doesn't seem to mind. I'm just really happy for her since this seems to make her so happy. I've tried to do what I can to help her be as comfortable with the transition as possible.

So there was that and then the thing I don't really want to dwell on. Mira came back again after all that time. She looked like she'd been abused and said she'd gone somewhere to be tested on. I really don't know what she was thinking and seeing her like that again hurt. I didn't like it, and I didn't like how it all upset Aiden so much, and that Mira could be so oblivious. For some reason Aiden wanted me to refer to her as male as well which was confusing. I was going to ask why but then it stopped mattering altogether because Mira completely vanished yet again. Just as soon as she'd arrived, gone again. Aiden went back to referring to herself as female and I went back to moving on from my feelings.... again.

I think it's obvious now why I didn't want to write. Too much negative. That and my thoughts were completely jumbled. On to the thing I DO want to write about though.

I met someone in my garden yesterday. His name is Yoo and even though I have technically met him before we were both very young and it was a brief meeting. He's an adult now and.... he's grown up very cute and attractive as well as kind, cheerful, sweet.... a lot of good things. I managed to get the courage to ask him out on a date. I think we were both shy and embarrassed about it but... I'm really happy I pushed myself out of my shell enough to ask him that. Hopefully I'll be able to see him soon at the ball coming up in a few weeks. If not I'll have to make sure the date happens even sooner. I promise to report on that this time, no matter how it goes. I'm feeling very optimistic and happy about it though.
