Well, with Kaicho gone, and leaving Squad 12, we need to choose what to do with it. do we close it down, and transfer the members to different squads or do we choose another captain, right here, right now?

I suggest that we leave the LT in charge for now, to mainly take care of small squad issues, but have another captain watch over the squad for larger issues until another captain is found.

Eh, I'll throw Apollo's name into it. Maybe he can become a Captain, he has greatly improved his skills.
I offically think Apollo should become Captain of squad twelve, he's always curious about how stuff works.

I think Apollo should still be calmed down before becoming a captain. Before he has been using abilities, such as cloning, and even a mechanism that have increased his power to a captains level while in sealed form.
Me, along with a few other captains had to correct him of this, on more than one occasion, so I don't believe he should be a captain yet.
Personally I have no met many people from squad twelve, and those member should become more active outside the squad, and we can determine if any of them can become captain, or if we should take a member from another squad, who shows much promise, and give them the opportunity to become captain.

I still think Apollo should become Captain, but if the Council thinks no then I shall not question. He has corrected these issues (not sure about cloning) but remember, not everyone can start golden. I sure as hell was scolded quite a few times before becoming a Captain.

squad 12 has always ben this inactive, even when i was in it i only meet the new members and Misa. the problem with finding a new captain from another squad is that i don't believe that anyone would qualify to take the spot, otherwise, we would have found the Captain for squad 5. the most qualified person, which is sad to say, would be Apollo. we have had to talk to him in the past, and being in squad 12, wouldn't help the fact that there is temptation to make and wear a power item. we would need to test him, which might mean that we put him as a temporary captain, to see how well he does. it will be a way to see if he can truly calm down, and be at a captains level. we could say we need a temporary Captain while we choose a new one and tell him that he is to have Lt powers still. we could promote him to Crew and send this to the Archives before he can see it.
Small recap:
temporaly promote Apollo to Captain, to see how he does.

I don't think Apollo is ready to become a captain. I am willing to work on my own squad and squad 12 until another captain is found. I don't believe it will be hard to keep the members within that squad active and outside of it. Of course this is a council decision but I believe that another captain that has experience should be temp captain to that squad until another captain can be found or even until we can help a squad member improve to become a captain.

Both good ideas, but I always enjoy a good test. So I second the decree stated by Athena. And to clarify my agreement with making Apollo temporary captain as a test, I place my seal down.
