not sure this goes here but...
Fizzle: can you hear them? the people crying for help?
Screams sounded in the foggy dark distance. There was emptiness and yet a strange sense of fulfillment. The scream wasn't like a person, no, more like a beast. the sounds of thumps and trickling of water warping the horrid screech.
Suddenly a voice cracked through the dull darkness speaking two words. "Not yet."
Lightning flashed through my vision and I awoke taking in the scene around me. I was flat on my back looking up at the sky, which strangely looked like someone had painted it with shades of red and orange. The strange absence of blue and white shocked me fully awake...
the rest of this is about a dream I had it's probably a little too graphic for some readers but to summarize, people were being melted by some kind of biological agent that multiplied on contact with living organic material. Its excreted waste toxic and acidic causing the break down of living matter. Some kind of people in high tech machines sprayed the approaching clouds of the stuff in a fly by and then forced us survivors on their ships. we took off and had to remove all clothing so they could sanatize us. I was the only real calm one there other than the soldiers, whoever, or whatever they were.

*comes out of hiding* ninja Erm. I'm using three fizzles to make one story XD That's okay, right? Anyway.
Ambulance Sirens on a cold night. Waiting for the phone to ring. Lightning in a Bottle.
~~~~~
5:10 PM. Ten minutes late. He said he would call. He'll call. After the first five minutes, she convinced herself that she was being ridiculous and stopped staring at the phone. Now she was relaxing (or trying to) on her bed, reading. 5:30. He said he would call. He'll call. He had a very busy, undoubtedly stressful job. Punctuality was not his strong suit. She had learned this early on and still fretted if there was room to fret. 6:00 PM. He said he would call. ...Will he call? The book bored her. Plus, she had the munchies. She headed into the kitchen for a snack, glancing at the thermostat on the table in the hall: 71 degrees Fahrenheit inside, 24 degrees outside. She reminded herself-- as she had done often the past few days-- how lucky she was to have a roof over her head and heat. 6:15. The sound of sirens perked up her ears. Flashing lights drew her eyes away from the pages of another book toward her bedroom window. They faded quickly, but two minutes later there were more, and a minute after that still more. An uncomfortable feeling settled into her chest. It's so cold out. I hope people are all right... 6:25. The phone rang. She picked it up before the first ring finished. "Derek?" "Liz, thank god I got you." It wasn't him. "Tia? What's wrong?" "Just-- Turn on the TV, channel 5." She grabbed the remote and pressed power. "...in front of Overture Inc. where a fire has broken out. The point of origin has been confirmed as the laboratory, but the cause is unknown. Three have been injured, with one in critical condition. They have been taken to the hospital and we'll have further updates as soon as we can--" Blip. Ohmygodohmygod "Liz! Is it on?" "I-- It just went-- It's blank." "Same here. Must be the channel... Have you heard from Derek?" "No..." "Jesus. He works there..." A waste of words, saying what they both knew. Blip. "--and several eyewitnesses have said that it was a lightning bolt that started the fire. A lightning bolt, and the fire started inside the building. That's what we're hearing and it's been confirmed repeatedly." She had thought she knew everything about him. But the reality unfolding before her made it clear that she knew nothing about him at all. ~~~~~ It was kind of by the seat of my pants... I didn't really what to write until after copy-pasting the fizzles into the post... thingy. sweatdrop And then, bam. It's an abrupt ending, but I meant it to be that way.
This was actually fun! Quote: Whatever happened to the dream of a girl president? She's got her head up in the clouds wondering where her Eddie went. ---------- “Monica, how long are you gonna stare at that fairy?” Monica looked up from the cover of People Magazine and frowned at her twin. “I get that Rob is a drool fest and all, but really? He’s not a vampire. Eddie was just a character he played.” Monica wrinkled her nose and scowled at her twin, looking back down at the celebrity. “Well Edward is a sexy beast and I’m gonna marry him one day, Al.” Al, short for Alexa, groaned and threw herself down on her bed. “Mona, please stop this stupidity. I thought you wanted to be the first female president and then take over the world or something.” Monica smiled, not taking her eyes off of Robert. “Meh, Hilary will beat me to it.” It was Alexa’s turn to wrinkle her nose. “She failed the first time, Mona. Why do you think she’ll win the next go-around?” “If at first you don’t succeed…” Alexa grabbed her pillow and placed it to her head, groaning into it. Her twin had always been a level headed girl. But that all changed when the Twilight Saga became a huge deal. She abandoned her sense and began daydreaming of a blood-sucking monster that would one day appear in their bedroom and whisk her away. Monica had even dragged Alexa to Washington only to discover that Forks wasn’t a real place. The poor girl had cried for almost a full day after finding that out. “Look, Mona, Ed isn’t real. Sure, there are guys named Ed, but they aren’t sparkling fairies,” she reasoned, moving the pillow aside. Monica shot a fierce glare at her sister. “They aren’t fairies, Alexa. They are simply fighting the urge to drink human blood, thus making them vegetarians.” She got to her feet and stood over her sister, arms crossed. “Do you have a problem with vegetarians?” Alexa rolled her eyes. “You know I do. A healthy person should eat animals; that’s what they’re raised for.” Monica slammed the pillow back onto Alexa’s face and stormed out, slamming the door as she went. Alexa sighed and let the pillow fall to the floor as she rolled to her stomach. She reached over to Monica’s bed and pulled the magazine over. Robert Pattinson was looking into her eyes with no prominent expression on his face. With a shake of her head, Alexa tossed the magazine back onto the other bed, not worried that the pages fanned out and probably were crinkled. “Stupid fairy…You ruined my sister’s dreams…” With a sigh, she got to her feet. Monica wouldn’t stay angry if Alexa groveled and apologized. Little did she know that once Monica found the crinkled magazine, she’d be in for a very moody sibling, throwing things and screaming like a four-year-old who doesn’t get her way. All over a silly magazine with the picture of a vampire on the front.
Who drank my tea? "Lily!",her sister shouted for her assistance. She sat down her tea cup and ran. "Is everyone ok?",Lily leaned against the door way, exhausted after sprinting from the garden. "Yes, but I wanted to know if this needs salt.",her sister held out a ladle filled with soup. Lily just stared at her "I thought someone was hurt or it was serious...",Lily turned around and walked back to the garden befor her sister could respond. When she found her spot the tea cup was empty.
Oh my gosh! This was my first fizzle. Im sorry
Fizzle: She looked into the end of the road and waited...
She tended to always be a little on the strange side of life. She ate cheese cake with mustard, when someone asked her what her favorite color was she always just smiled and spun in circles. It seemed as though she was trapped in her own little fantasy thoughts, ones that never seemed to go away, ones that kept her sadness hidden. Well enough that she was always happy. She always pushed on into her subjects and was never once found without a smile. But that didn’t mean she wasn’t sad, or confused, in fact she was. Poor sweet innocent girl was the saddest being that ever roamed, but all people thought of her a happy subject. Maybe it was because she was never a talker, or suppose it could have been her bouncy blonde curls, or how bright and cheery her eyes always seemed. She stared off at the sun as it set and scratched the pavement with her nails. A frown plastered on her face, but no one saw it. She watched as tiny little sparks of the old black road gained in her nails and on the grass next to it. The small girl stared at her fingers and sat like that for hours, staring, staring, staring, at her fingers working towards the end of the road and then to the beginning. She scratched and scratched.
What were those little flecks of red? Those small pieces of light that shone through. Those rays made her so happy, it made her think of her fantasy thoughts to see that in her mind that red, hot, fiery place she had always dreamed of. The tall red man, with his black goatee, his big dark red three pronged fork, and his viciously inviting smile, his little horns on his head sharp and taunting her to touch, oh what a happy image and smile it brought her.
She continued to do so her nails going back and forth faster and faster as she tried to reach her imaginary land faster. Suddenly, the ground shook and she crawled away from the small hole she had made. It suddenly became a huge gaping hole. The pavement had crumbled falling in towards the hungry flames, just as suddenly thousands of red, black, gray, and all variations of those colors emerged all of them wispy like and scary.
As they slowly dispersed into the dark night she crawled to the red lighted hole. She ignored the moans and cackles of the few wispy demons that had been slow to leave. She wanted to go down there, but all of the demon wisps told her other wise. But she needed to see that fiery red man.
She looked into the end of the road and waited, she waited watching the fiery man scream and shout into the night wildly. He was angry and utterly mad. She was waiting for him to stop screaming and yelling and invite her grinning self in. She wanted in oh so badly. She wanted to go down and join him, join his small legion, and dominate the world, be in her fascinating fantasy world.
The moment she had thought it she jumped into the inviting flames in the road. She let the warmth overcome her as she still grinned and smiled. The warmth was hot but comforting to her. She soon landed on her feet inside of the fire. This girl was amazing, she wasn’t dead, she wasn’t even charred. She walked out of the flames unharmed and she climbed Hades chair tapping his shoulder. He spun around his eyes glowing dark red and blue.
“I am Isabella, and I want to help you.” she said her voice still young, at an age Hades guessed to be five, “This is my world, and I want to make it big, nice and big. I want it up there, right now, and with all those stupid people, so we can kill them all. I just ask you for one little thing.” she said holding up a pudgy finger her other hand held behind her pink dress. “You have to make me the Queen when it is done.” she said he voice slightly slurred by her fatty cheeks.
Hades let up an eyebrow and a cackling laugh. Isabella frowned her anger building inside her tiny body. “Do you agree or not you buffoon?” she asked using language unfit for her. She suddenly had an older voice and she was growing quickly already almost as tall as Hades waist now. Her hair burned like fire turning a heated blue her eyes going dark black, as she took deep breaths her cheeks slowly becoming an older woman. Hades eyes widened. “This is my World and I demand you answer my condition now!” she screamed now taller than him her head just as tall as she could be. She was older now more mature with her anger.
Hades grinned chuckling. “Of course my lady, you shall be Queen when we finally dominate the pitifuls up there.” Hades cooed tickling her chin with his long fingers. She smiled shrinking slowly down to Hades height. “But,” he countered smiling, “for you to be Queen, you must be mine first.” he said with a charming grin. Isabella smiled as he began walking. Hades pulled her to him, as he walked, by her waist,
“You shall be mine soon enough do not worry Isabella.” he cooed mercilessly as he walked ordering servants to begin an immediate reunion. “Then, we crush all who we don’t like.” he said grinning and cackling along with his soon to be Queen.
Fizzle:
"FLAMING BUTTOCKS!!!!"
The entire lobby fell into a puzzled silence for a few moments. Then, chaos ensued as the smell of smoke and charred backside settled into the air. "What the-?" "FIRE!!!" "WHERE?!!" "Who?" The guy on fire ran around, screaming and flailing, in an attempt to put out the fire. Everybody else ran around, screaming and flailing, in an attempt to escape the flames. "OW! GET OFFA MY FOOT!" "GET OFFA MY KIDNEYS!" "MY EYES!!! YOU ELBOWED MY EYES!!!!" "FORGET YOUR EYES, MY SPLEEN!"
This madness went on for some time before the Boss-man came to investigate. "EEE-NOUGH!!! QUIT SCREAMING AND GET BACK TO WORK!" "But sir... he's on fire." "Do I really have to think for everyone? SOMEBODY DUMP THE WATER JUG ON THAT GUY! Maybe then he'll shut up." "Uh, sir? I think he needs an ambulance, sir." "Eh? What? Oh yeah... Of course..." "Well, sir?" "Huh? Whaddya looking at me for? You're the secretary, you call the ambulance!" *sigh* "Yes sir."
*shrug* Kinda stupid, but not that bad for a first try...
