Now i really feel dumb for skipping school because of the movie..
It was horrible in my point of view.
The story-line was kind of odd.
And the that called 'Alice' didn't look like she should e___e..
She looked like 30 D: And they call it 'CIAiW' T.T
I have nothing to say more about the movie D:

I thought it was very interesting, I mean it's a whole new story for Alice and Wonderland. Not to mention it pairs together Alice and Madhatter oh so well. xD In a way it wasn't the best, but it was better than I thought it would be.

Yeah, I was quite disappointed with it.
I waited for almost a YEAR to see it and it was just like any other movie.
No big deal. :/

I think Burton should've stuck with the original story.

I did like it though, and I would see it again, but I'm not going to obsess over it.
Though I did love the Cheshire Cat.

I haven't seen it yet, I'm afraid it's going to be over-run by Johnny Depp, knowing Burton...
But we'll see.

Just got back from the movie.
Personally, I loved it.
Alice's dress when she's with the red queen made me smile and want to try to make one like it.
But I'm being hugged right now, so more later.
Love to all my dearies!!

I only quoted you because I wanted to say that I have that same Alice costume. Mine is extremely short though. =/ Is yours like that too, is mine just stupid?

On the subject of the new movie:

I was EXTREMELY disappointed in it. evil

Ah, well, I wasn't disappointed. I knew it wasn't going to be exactly like the story so I didn't expect it to be, though I do love it when little references to the books are snuck in. It feels like an inside joke because I know most people who are watching will just think it was Tim Burton's own bizarre imagination to give the Red Queen frog and fish footmen.

My only honest to god complaint was having to hear Avril Lavgine's horrible screeching voice during the credits.

I personally enjoyed the movie very much. Burton did a good job, because let's face it, the book doesn't have much of a plot by itself. It relies entirely on clever little plays on words, and that's simply not something that can be turned into a good move (which was made obvious by all the other attempts to make an Alice movie, which no one really cared for, for whatever reason. sad ) and he gave it a good movie-plot. Though I have to say it was a little too focused on the Red Queen and Mad Hatter... (Burton movie focused on Bohnam-Carter and Depp...surprise!) All in all though, I'd have to say it was a very creative interpretation of the book.

I didn't like it. I knew I wouldn't, but a friend invited me and I always try to see a movie before writing it off completely. I didn't like Mia as Alice. She felt wrong to me. I also hated that everything was real in the end. I want for things to be like the book in which you never truly know if Alice has actually gone there or whether it's all a dream. I love when it's ambiguous like that! I just didn't feel like I was watching an Alice incarnation, rather than yet another Tim Burton film. My favorite ever was the 1998 version with Tina Majorino as Alice and Whoopi Goldberg as the Cheshire Cat.
