Flynn looked as though he were going to pass out at any moment from a cross between boredom, hunger, and being a bit tired, "Why are so many people awake at this hour?" He asked of Ante, the dragon child who was currently perked on his shoulders in his favorite spot to be. The day time was no when they were normally awake but due to the fact that the bank wasn't open when they were often out and about so that meant getting up at this time a day.

Ante looked down at his friend, shrugged, then pushed up so that he was standing on his shoulders, his feet grasping hold of Flynn to keep steady, tail wrapping around him like a brace as he looked over the long line, "It is pretty far between where we are and where we are going." He said in his ever helpful manner. This was fun! He got to watch all sorts of strange people as they went about the ritual of waiting for the women and men in charge at the front of each of the lines. The important people were marked with matching vests, name tags, and smiles on their faces. He gave a toothy smile before he looked down at Flynn, leaning in a manner that caused the beads in his hair to clink together.

"After this we go get food?" He asked of Flynn, he was hungry! Of course he was always hungry, wasn't he? The dragon boy was a bit of a bottomless pit, readying to eat anything and everything.

Flynn nodded, "I don't see why not." He said after a moment of thought. He was a bit hungry though no where near how hungry the boy on his shoulders could get. He could tell just carrying him around that he was getting a little heavier but he didn't look as though it were bad for him, he wasn't unhealthy or overweight, he was just hungry a lot. Likely due to how active he was when awake, even when he was sitting his tail would lash, his feet would flex and tap, he'd bounce around, generally always moving if he weren't going anywhere.

Flynn turned his head toward the voice, finding himself starring at a strange little child that was floating along next to them. Not that he could really talk, could he? Ante wasn't exactly the most normal looking little boy, was he?

"Hey there." Flynn greed the kid who called himself 'Reyn'.

Ante's tail set to swishing behind him and he turned himself to better look at the one that was a potential friend to play with while waiting in the eternally long line, "Hello Reyn, I'm Ante! This is my friend, Flynn." He patted Flynn's fiery hair in a happy manner. The dragon child nodded his head rapidly at the question, "Play, yes! Yea, that would be fun!" Then again compared to waiting anything would be fun...

"Don't wander far." Flynn told his boy, kneeling down so that Ante could hop off of his perch and land on the ground, "And behave yourself, no breaking anything either."

Ante giggle and nodded, "I will be good Flynn." He assured the man then gave his attention to Reyn.

Flynn gave a smile when the stranger looking of the two, not that Ante was any less so, agreed to the no breaking things rule. He would keep an eye on the pair while they played but better that the kids at least enjoy themselves since he sure as Hell wasn't going to be allowed to do so in this slow going, soul draining line.

"Tag or Hide and Seek?" He tilted his head to one side, giving a thoughtful sound before he half shrugged, "Any game is fun! I haven't played with someone my age for a long time." He said, tail wagging happily.
