Ok- Random I know, but before here I wanted to join the zOMG Elite clan.
They just accepted my submission tonight around 11pm and it says I am IN the clan.
I am ALSO in this clan- Has that happened ever to anyone else?

wow...that's an odd coincidence...
Qixter once posted that you could only join ONE clan, not more...so what you have right now is basically, well, uncommonly special?
note, that if you're in two...how will you do it in-game?

yeah, i was going to ask the same thing...how do you do clan chat (when it works) if you have 2 clans...maybe what you write will be in both clans's chat logs...that'd make for some very confuzzling conversations xp

Feh, it says when I use the clan chat im not part of a clan...
>_> But the Elite Clan has a s**t load of tutorials that looked pretty interesting.
I wonder if I should steal them as goodies for myself.

Kiyanga ...tutorials? Like, what kinds? "How to get a couple hundred orbs in under an hour"? or "How to make newbies mad"? or "How to fix your clan chat"? or "How to avoid crewing with idiots who don't know what they're doing and don't want to learn either"? ROLF! Nrr, they basically note things I already knew- Like if you raise your TC count, it helps advance your Ghi abilities, Using glitches like in SS DOES get you banned, formulas for strategical farming... I COULD Copy and paste a lot of goodies. Honestly I think this clan could use a area for just tutorials and walk thu's.

When we started out it was just a group of friends playing, now we're growing a bit it would definitely be handy! I'm not sure about swiping other peoples work though confused
Still, if you feel like copy pasting (as long as they dont mind) or building a guide it would be welcome here!
I was thinking about putting one together but I've got a heap of stuff going on IRL and about a million things to do here already. *busy Nuff*

I though DONT know where to start. zOMG! Tutorials, Guides, Tips & FAQ's, Strategical Farming and formulas, then other usefull information. A subforum should be made. ALSO since i Cant use clan chat until I leave the other clan, it would be useful to have a meeting time according to everyones timezones; Ive been in this clan a couple days and I haven't played with ANY of the people. ALSO this place hasnt been updated it looks since 2008! Some things should be archived.

Ummm...I'm kind of analytical, so what I have to say is probably going to have a tone that I don't intend for it to have ( ie: it reads kind of snotty to me, but I'm really not trying to be snotty or *insert word-that I-can't-think-of-that-is-almost-but-not-quite-a-synonym-for-snotty here* )
...copy-pasting without permission from the authors is probably not a good idea...
I think most of us have gotten past the need for tutorials and walk through but I can see how that could be useful.
Actually, it isn't raising your TC that helps advance your Ghi abilities, it's fighting monsters and healing players that advance your Ghi...it just so happens that when you do that, you get orbs and raise your TC too...
The best formula for strategical farming is to have a full crew where
(Monster's CL - 0.5) <= Crew Members' CL <= (Monster's CL + 0.4)
and where everyone stays on the same screen. And the luck boosts from Angel set, fitness, and rr4 div & coyote only increase ring drops, not gold/orbs/loot.
In general, exploiting glitches will get you banned, whether they're in SS or Village Greens, but in my opinion, fighting the monsters that would have been glitched away is (1) more fun, and (2) more lucrative in terms of gold/orbs.

Honestly it doesn't sound snotty at all, but although if I were to copy and paste, risking plagerism, can you honestly say ALL the people in this clan know what you just mentioned?
In the end it boils down to me saying, 'Tutorials would be nice for those who do not know, regardless if someone finds time to write them or copy them. I see a couple people in this clan but the forums themselves need to be updated- I have no clue who is active and who might not even visit the forums or just joined and is inactive.'
Unfortunately people might not read the game help but they MIGHT read if its posted in a clan forum.

Even though I am a cl 10 I think a tutorial thread would be a good idea. Since I am not playing zOMG as much as I used to I forget some of the stratagies.
As for the copying of others posts. I would ask for permission first before copying it.
