ll Bella_Luna ll II Pump II Let's get something straight, The Beatles are not "rock," they are like... buggy buzzes. (Yes, they need their own genre.) The Who is ROCK Harsh, but I have to say its true. But they did have some really amazing songs. I don't dislike the Beatles, they are lame but I enjoy their songs. They did write some timeless classics.

John lennon35 The beatles can outplay and outsing the who anytime (but its a close race). Bull. Ringo Starr < Keith Moon (Ringo never came close) Paul McCartney < John Entwistle (Paul could never and will never play bass as great as John did) George Harrison < Pete Townshend (No Contest) John Lennon < Roger Daltrey (That one was actually a little close) THIS IS COMING FROM A BEATLES FAN.

Eh, never really cared much for The Beatles in the first place. Their music is too light for me to call it rock, though it doesn't fit many other categories well. The Who however is an exact definition of what true rock and roll sounds like :3

The Beatles were a band I used to listen to often as a kid, and I still do. I love The Who and The Beatles, but The Who out rocks them easily. The heaviest songs The Beatles have done are "Helter Skelter", and "She's So Heavy".

The Who are at their peak when performing live.

Ya'll are crazy. The Who are not better than The Beatles. The Beatles are twenty times better than The Who. And I bet if all four Beatles were alive today They would out play The Who. And DEFINATELY out sing them. Because did any of you catch the Half-time show with The Who? HORRID singing. Just god awful.

I thought Roger did a great job despite his old age. Sure, they may not be the crashing bashing in your face band due to the losses of John and Keith, but Pete and Roger hold on very well.
