Okay, this is a thread where I am going to go a couple of things in my roleplay that I'm working on. I would like to be able to approve that parts I think are horrible and listen to the ideas of fellow roleplayers on whether this roleplay will stand up or not.

First is the technology of this roleplay. Here is a link to where I am discussing it.

While I can't think of a roleplay where cybernetic wasn't a big thing in it, I liked the idea of gene-splicing and making human-animal hybrids, so that how I came up with cybernetic/genetic systems. While the power may seem okay, it also need to be balanced. I borrowed this system from another roleplayer, adding some weakness to their power.

First, your hinderance has to be related to your power. Example. Say you have a cybernetic arm and advance hearing thanks to machines, you can make it so your arm shorts out when water hits it and your advance hearing becomes useless after using it for so long. I would at least like to see one hinderance for each power.

Below is the story/setting I had for this roleplay. My goal was to try to come up with something to would interest a prospective roleplayer and make them continue to browse the roleplay.

Earth has away been pulling its boundaries, but in the year 2170 we achieved what was previously thought impossible. We were able to travel beyond our solar system. In the year 2340, we have found other planets, which we have colonized for various reasons. By the year 2500, we were able to establish space stations that served as fueling ports for ships along as cities for those lucky enough to go into space.

Unfortunately with all the success Earth had, we also had downsides. Crime rates skyrocketed as there were more places for criminals to hide and rob. Assaults of civilian cruisers, bombings, slave and drug trades all sky rocketed as soon as the theives could get their hands on a ship.

With all the activities happening, one man stood and established the Galactic Peace Corps or GPC for short. Their jobs were to cease and monitored the criminal activities that happened in space. Not long after its establishment, the GPC could be found in any space station or colony. The government supported it so greatly, that it eventually became the central government. We saw the results, as they exceeded our greatest hopes. For once we were at peace and we thought it could last forever.

Forever ended ten years ago.

It was sudden and without warning. The Galactic Peace Corps placed a ban on space travel, with the exception of the GPC, halting all civilian travel. Mothers were separated from children, husbands from their wives, friend from friends. If this wasn’t enough, we have lost communications with other stations. There are those who fear the worse, but the GPC assured us that there was nothing to worry about. They told us that the ban would be lifted soon, but it was only an empty promise.

The biggest trouble I have in making up the world of my roleplay.

Since it is space its a bit big, so I limited the group taking a ship and going from station to station. Each station would be like entering a brand new city, each one having particular quirks and attractions.

However...I'm not too good with coming up with that. Suggestions?
