Father: Gekkou (x) Mother: Kasumi (x) Siblings: Dodaiishi (x) Half-Siblings (Father's Side): None Half-Siblings (Mother's Side): None
Mate: None Offspring: None
Pack: None Rank: None
Personality: Kyoko is highly emotional. Generally upbeat and energetic, she has a smile for everyone she considers 'friend' or 'family'. She is easy to cry and laugh and get angry, but she generally doesn't stay in darker moods for long. She has little concept of personal space, and loves nuzzling and cuddling. If you get greeted by a pounce, it's likely her. Mention her mother, however, and she damn near panics. Kyoko has a deep rooted fear of the female, and has gone hiding at the mere mention of Kasumi's name.

Name: Shǒuhùsēnlín Meaning: Protect the Forest in Chinese Seer: n/a
Father: Shānjiānhùrén (x) Mother: Xìnyǎng (x) Siblings: None Half-Siblings (Father's Side): None Half-Siblings (Mother's Side): None
Mate: None Offspring: None
Pack: None Rank: None
Personality: Shǒu is a gentleman. He is nearly always polite, ESPECIALLY to females. And he has a tendency to flatter them to no end. And when a female's under attack or being snapped at, etc., Shǒu is there to defend them! Unfortunately...this can lead to females thinking one of two things: 1) he's in love with them, or 2) he's trying to get some tail. The truth is generally neither. Shǒu has yet to fall in love, and he doesn't want to 'do the deed' with anyone but the one he loves...once he finds her...It's proving a difficult search.

Name: Pò (Kira) Meaning: Broken, Damaged in Chinese (Mistress, Ruler in Russian) Seer: n/a
Father: Evgeniy (x) Mother: Akilina (x) Siblings: None Half-Siblings (Father's Side): None Half-Siblings (Mother's Side): None
Mate: (Past) Shùpí (x) Offspring: None
Pack: None Rank: None
Personality: Pò is as her name says...broken. Once a bright, clever kirsa who was raised to lead, she is now quiet and contemplative. She's full of knowledge about the world, and has taken to telling stories about the things she's heard and adventures she had as Kira, calling them the word for 'fairy tale' that Shùpí taught her; 'tónghuà', and opening them with 'Cóngqián', a word meaning 'once upon a time'.
Since she finds it hard to walk still and she cannot see, she's very reliant on Ünesün, and considers him her dearest friend. And sometimes, when the scents are just right and they stop near the water, Pò cannot help but weep for the mate she searches for, her Shùpí.
History: (Told in story format.)
Cóngqián, in a land far from here, there was a pack of kirsa. They were an old pack, full of traditions. But one of those traditions was broken with the last leader. You see, rulership of the pack was passed to the youngest son of the first litter of the leader and his mate. But the poor leader at that time...his mate had but a single kit before illness took her, and that kit was a girl. The poor leader was heartbroken at the loss of his mate, and had loved her so much that he could not bare the thought of taking another. So the little girl-kit was raised to be his heir.
Her name was Kira, and she was clever and beautiful. Looking at her was like looking at the living embodiment of Yin and Yang with her white and black fur, and her mannerisms that were a careful blend of 'male' and 'female'. And her eyes were the color of new leaves, full of life and promise. She had her moments of rebellion, dashing off to wrestle with the boys or play tag in the flowers with the girls instead of tending to her lessons. But she truly cared about all in the pack, simply wanting to know them so she could tend to their needs better. It was not to last.
One night, she snuck out to watch the moon's reflection in the lake they lived beside and found herself not alone. Stopping for a drink was a handsome male dhole, with fur the color of tree bark in the spring. Intrigued, as she'd never seen a dhole before, she hid before she could be spotted and followed him. She thought herself quite sneaky...and found out she was not. The dhole lead her far from her home, then turned and greeted her.
His name was Shùpí, and he admitted to watching the pack for some time. Her especially. He was completely enamored with her and her unique ways and views. Kira was flattered, and when he offered to show her the ways of the world, so she might better lead her pack, she took the offer. For some moons, they traveled, never far from one another and he taught her about the things her pack knew so little about. How to read the stars, how to hide in plain sight, how to love other species instead of fear them.
And love Kira did. She'd fallen completely and thoroughly for Shùpí, and he for her. He was charming, knowledgeable, and strong, everything she wanted in a male. And she was clever, beautiful, and full of promise as a leader, things he didn't know he'd been looking for till he found her. But their adventures were not to last...as they began to head back for Kira's pack, they were confronted by a male kirsa.
His name was Faddei, and he was from Kira's pack, come to bring her home after long moons of searching. He had been the male thought most likely to catch Kira's eye for mate. When he found Kira and Shùpí, they were nestled together as only mates can be, and Faddei found himself full of hurt and rage and jealousy. Kira was supposed to be HIS. Not some outsider who could never give her kits! He confronted them, calling Kira a traitor to her pack. Kira argued back, that she was heading HOME, and bringing with her all the knowledge she'd gained for the GOOD of the pack. Faddei did not think, and said she would be the death of the pack, bringing home knowledge they had no use for and a mate who could not father her kits.
Shùpí spoke then. He said he was willing to let another father her kits, so that her bloodline might continue and the leadership passed on. And that the knowledge she had gained was not useless, that it would expand the opportunities of the pack. Faddei could not accept that. But for the moment, he slunk off to brood. In his brooding, he came up with a plan.
The next day, Shùpí and Kira started off again, hoping Faddei would join them and see reason...but he never did. Later in the day, they travelled along a cliff. Kira's ears caught the sound of water, and she moved to peer over the edge of the cliff, wanting to see the river that was certainly below. Shùpí pleaded for her not to go, saying it was dangerous, and Kira listened. And then she heard a cry for help...in what sounded like Faddei's voice. As much as he'd been a hurtful kirsa the night before, Kira could not leave one of her own pack alone when they needed help! She peered over the edge of the cliff to find Faddei stuck on a ledge just out of her reach...and she had not the strength to pull him up by branch or vine. But she knew Shùpí did!
She turned to call to him, when the rock beneath her paws crumbled and she fell to the swift river below. The last thing she saw was the distance figures of Shùpí and Faddei calling to her. The next thing she saw was a great black tiger.
His name was Ünesün, and he'd found her a moon before, practically broken and battered by the river. She'd managed to be carried into a calmer inlet, but she'd come very, very close to death. Ünesün had nursed her, did his best to ensure she did not die, that her bones were in the right places to mend. He'd done well enough, for she was alive. But the bones in one of her back legs didn't heal quite right, leaving her with a limp. And something in her had broken so she no longer had her sight. And she'd been very, very thin when she awoke. She regained most of her size as she healed while awake, but she would always look a little underfed.
She told her story to Ünesün, and that she had to find Shùpí and Faddei...to tell them she was not dead. Ünesün agreed to help her, and they began to travel once she was healed enough. One night...Kira knew she could no longer go by her old name. It no longer fit her, the broken shell of what she once was. She asked Ünesün what he called her, while she was near-death. 'Pò' is what he called her...and Pò her name became.
