"They feel so weird..." Evie laughed, still rubbing. Oh, Calm down!

Jesse rubbed Evie's belly and hummed in a deep bass to the babies, trying to calm the babies down lest they make mommy feel sick (or wet herself).
"I can't wait," Sy whispered.

Hmmm. Maybe settle down.
"I don't know how much longer you'll have to wait." Evie sighed, petting Sy's head. Mmm... Yay pets~ "Babies tend to come quicker than you're ready for them."

Sy almost asked how she would know, but he thought better of it. Jesse sat up, pulling Evie (and this also Sy) into his arms.
"And that's why the bag's already packed."

"Yep." Evie agreed, tugging Sy forward a bit. Oh, come for cuddles son! "Just in case. Twins like to come early, usually, from what I've heard."

Sy nodded and draped over his parents, holding his camera on his belly with one hand and folding the other arm behind his head.
"It almost doesn't feel real," Jesse mused, rubbing Evie's belly still.

"It feels real to me," Evie teased. "But I feel them all the time."
But, she understood. For so long, this had been an impossible hope. And now it was a reality? So strange, so wondrous.
