I like Private Servers better, mostly cause the people are usually nicer and easier to talk to instead of the normal idiot kser that I find on GMS.

I think Global Maplestory is better because theres more people to talk to and train with :3

Depends;
If you only wanna play with a select amount of people and have the game be totally free I would do Private server
But If i wanted to meet more people and pay for NX, but also have the game be more challenging and fun, then I would go for GMS.

I prefer GMS. Its where I have invested all of my maple time. I wouldn't be able to come back from a private server.

I've never played on a Private Server since I don't know how to download one aha. Hence, I prefer GMS for the realism.

Private servers...Cause GMS Has all the new jobs that are stupid when they could just do more job advancements instead of the 2 new ones, And it now lags like a b***h xP
