Roses... falling from the sky,
so red, white, pink,
as they flutter down,
I think of her.
At this school, the Maiden Rose Academy, everyone is classified in rank: Red Roses are of the upper class, White Roses are of the middle class, and Pink Roses are of the lower class.
Whites and Pinks can communicate and be friends regularly. It is unusual to find a Red talking to a white, unheard of to find them talking to a Pink. It is pretty much a rule at the school, though it doesn't appear in the student handbook.
This is a story of two girls that can not be separated or torn apart by such rules or regulations. They barely meet eachother, become best friends, end up having to break the rules to see eachother, then realize that maybe there is something more to their friendship...

Personality: Tatsuki isn't a shy person and likes to make herself known to all. Her spunky attitude gets her into trouble a lot of the time, but her pride keeps her together. Tatsuki loves her friends and hates anyone who troubles them, 'cept her, of course.

Ҭ ᾱ ț ɛ υ ʞ ɩ ☆ Ϩ α ʂ ʮ ɱ έ oxoxoღ _____________________________________________________________ Tatsuki ran through the courtyard of the academy, for she was in hurry to be on time for her Student Council meeting. Her thoughts were on her presentation that she had thought up that weekend, and she was eager to show it off. On Tatsuki's way to the classroom, she passed the fountain, the entertainment centre and the large statue that was deticated to their school's founder.
She wasn't paying attention to her surroundings and ran into several people. "Sorry, excuse me....Sorry, I'm in a hurry," she said to several pedestrians walking to their morning classes. Bounding up the stairs and rounding the corner, she was moving her feet as fast as she could.
Wham!
"Owww~ She said from on the ground. Her head hurt now, and she was about to tell the person to watch where they were going when she looked up. Tatsuki sucked in a harsh breath.
It was Tanako Shima, a Red Rose, and one of the 'proper rich people' of the academy. "Oh, uh, I'm sorry, Tanako-sempai. I just, uh, got in a hurry, I'm sorry." Wow, Tatsuki usually told everyone off, but this was Tanako, an upperclassmen. What was wrong with her? Tatsuki quickly stood up and brushed her self off and held her hand out to Tanako, she smiled. _____________________________________________________________

⇨⇨⇨______ Shima Tanako ______⇦⇦⇦ Aaah, what a peaceful day, Shima Tanako thought to herself. She wished that every day could be this nice. Tanako was on her way to the student council meeting. Shima was the president, being a straight-A student and a Red Rose, she was one of the few most eligible people at her all-female academy.
Just as Shima rounded the corner, someone bulldozed into her, knocking her to the floor. She grunted in pain as her butt hit the cobblestone ground.
Then she saw who was on top of her and fought the blush.
Sasume-chan was a lower classman. Some one that Shima wasn't expected to be seen with. Even though Shima was an upper-classman, she didn't really beleive in the rules that this school enforced. She thought that if two people were meant to be friends, then nothing should even attempt to get in their way. Let alone lovers.
With graceful clumsiness, Sasume-chan got to her feet, blurted out an apology, and held her hand out for Shima to take. Shima took the hand and lifted herself off the ground and began brushing herself off.
Sasume Tatsuki was the only crush she had ever had since elementary school. For some reason, Tatsuki never seemed to notice that Shima had been in every one of her schools and classes since grade school. Maybe here, on this day, something was about to change.
"No worries, Sasume-san. Where were you headed in such a hurry?" Shima made her voice sound confident and profesional with experience and ease, without even thinking about it.

Tatsuki corrected herself and slowed her speech, remembering that she was being/acting stupid in front of an upperclassmen and Tanako-sempai.
"Well I was in a hurry to be on time for the Council meeting. I was running, I'm sorry for bumping in to you, Sempai." Her blush was still on her face, illuminating her cheeks, and she also noticed that her hand was still in Tanako's. Tatsuki quickly let go, swinging her hands behind her back and locked them.
Tatsuki wanted to take that hand back and keep it in hers forever. It was wierd, but she had always looked at Tanako a little different than most girls, and not to mention she was always in one of her classes, so she got to stare all the time. (That sounded stalkerish. lol) Tanako was different, less regal and arrogent, and Tatsuki admired her for it. She had always taken a liking toward Tanako, or maybe some day Shima?
'Well, we will just have to wait and see for that.' she though, but then hoped for something more than just calling her by her first name. Maybe they could start calling each other by first names, but it was improper to do so, especially for Tanako-sempai.
Tatsuki actually hoped that this little mishap brought them closer together and be more like friends rather than just aquantinces. It would be a dream to just be herself with Tanako and maybe she could open up herself too. She apologized once agian, and not really paying attention to the time or what was around her for that matter; all she could do was gaze at Tanako's wonderful features some more._____________________________________________________________

⇨⇨⇨______ Shima Tanako ______⇦⇦⇦ Much to Shima's dismay, Sasume-chan noticed that tey were still holding hands and quickly pulled away. "It's no problem at all. Did you say you were going to the student council meeting?" The redhead nodded. "Then shall we walk together?" This sudden bolness surprised Shima. She didn't agree with the rules of this academy, but she sure did obey them, just so she wouldn't get into trouble. She was of high status in her family and even if she only got a small chastisement, her parents would completely disregard her for a long period of time.
However, this seemed right to Shima, she felt it in her gut. Something was going to happen. Something that would make her and Tatsuki inseperable.
There she went again, surprising herself. Well, what's the worst that could happen? Shima could probably get out of a lot of the trouble if they were to be seen; and most likely Tatsuki, too.
So, Shima decided. She was going to walk to the student council meeting with a Pink Rose, and there wasn't anything anyone could do to stop them.

It just wasn't a thing that you were supposed to do, but it wouldn't stop her from trying to find a way to spend a little more time with Shima. 'Shima.' It would sound good coming out of her mouth for once, but had not the courage to say it...yet.
She straightened her skirt and turned back to Shima as she had turned to savor the moment of her happiness with Shima. "Um, are you sure that is alright with you? You don't want to be cuaght with a Pink Rose, do you? It will definatly be held against you by your fellow classmates."
She didn't want Shima or herself to leave this moment, but it would also be a matter of time that they came upon the Council room. Feeling rather dejected, Tatsuki plastered on a smile and told her she would accept the invitation in walking together. She wanted to spend as much time with her Sempai as possible.
Her head was full of so many things today that she thought her head was going to split. She wasn't going to be away from a person she cared about anymore and decided that it was her job to place time with Tanako. Tatsuki was going to state her love to herself first and then when it was time...to Shima. _____________________________________________________________

⇨⇨⇨______ Shima Tanako ______⇦⇦⇦ Shima noticed when Sasume-chan asked if it would be okay, that she didn't really want to ask her that. Tatsuki wanted to walk with her. This thought made Shima's heart flutter.
"Of course. I know many people at this school, and I'm sure none of them would react too much if they saw us walking to a meeting that we both have together.
In truth, Shima wasn't completely sure on that note, but she figured she might as well go with it.

Maybe no one would notice either of them. Posh, like that was going to happen since Tanako was one of the most known students at Maiden Rose. Tatsuki gathered her fallen stuff on the ground, and of course Shima's, she handed it to her, and they were off to the Student Council room.
The room itself was far across campus closer to the principals office, but they always decided it to be near their own classrooms. While walking Tatsuki couldn't help but edge closer to Shima and then when she realised she stealthly moved away a few inches. Her body just drifted towards Shima like she couldn't help it and frankly she didn't want to.
"Soo, Tanako-sempai? What are you going to present at the Meeting today?" She said after a few minutes of walking. Many people crossed their paths and either said a greetings or simply stared at the strange occurance before them.
Oh, and of course, thank you for walking with me. It has been...very nice."_____________________________________________________________

⇨⇨⇨______ Shima Tanako ______⇦⇦⇦  Shima's heart was going out of control. She had what seemed like hundreds of emotions swirling around in her heart. She felt that she had been to demanding to Tatsuki.
"Please call me Tanako-san. 'Sempai' sounds so... underclassman-ish. I want you to consider us friends. Or at least aquaintances. Is that okay with you?"
Shima didn't know where she got the strength to speak, for she felt numb from her waist up, allowing herself to walk. She was so close to Tatsuki... with a slide of hand, their fingers would be entwined and all would feel right. All would feel complete. Serene. Almost bewitched. Shima couldn't remember the last time she was so conflicted like this. Ha! Oh my gawd you are so right! Hee hee we could use this to poke fun at any illiterate people in the guild! Bwahahaha!!!

They arrived at the Council room a while later, Tatsuki opened the door and they both went in. "Where were you two?!" Another Red Rose asked both of them. Tatsuki cringed back at her tone, but answered anyways that they both ran into each other and lost track of time.
"Okay, well make sure it doesn't happen again." This time her tone was directed straight at Tatsuki for she was a Pink rose. Tatsuki nodded, bowed, and quickly went to her seat, sinking into it not really happy anymore. _____________________________________________________________

⇨⇨⇨______ Shima Tanako ______⇦⇦⇦  Upon entering the council room, they were chastised breifly on their being late, and walking in together. Moving to the other side of the room, Shima boldly took a seat next to Tatsuki. Not bothering on asking anyone. She was one of the rare Red Roses. The professors couldn't do really anything about it. Hopefully it wouldn't backfire against Tatsuki or anything. Shima began to worry. Ha! Oh my gawd you are so right! Hee hee we could use this to poke fun at any illiterate people in the guild! Bwahahaha!!!
