With Lilly practically dancing for joy beside her, Lotus had no choice but to accept the idea of staying as well. Nothing ever separated the sisters from each other, and this certainly would not be the case. Though she really didn't totally trust the other two lions yet, Jeuri had seemed nice enough and she had no reason to try and drag her sister off, at least not yet. Besides, she might come to even think of this place as home...
"We'd be delighted, my King," Lotus bowed, nudging her sister to do the same out of respect. He was to be their leader, at least for now.
Lotus had no idea how soon she would come to regret those words.

Jeuri, Titia and Maovu all three smiled at the Lotus's reply. They had them now and they weren't getting away.
*Skip a few days*
Jeuri was settled in a grassy patch a little higher up than the den was. He came here for privacy and today he was hoping he could have someone else join him privately. He'd asked Lilly earlier if she would mind joining him to star gaze. It was about the time he asked her to show so he was hoping she wouldn't stand him up. Despite his plans for her and her sister he was really starting to become very fond of Lilly and if he could manage he wanted to stay in her good graces. Perhaps he could keep her with him and maybe make her his new mate. It would take a lot of desception on his part but since his last chosen mate had left him he really didn't want to mess up another chance.
Meanwhile down in the den Titia and Maovu sat in the deepest depths of the den. They were having a conversation they really didn't want anyone else to hear. "I already hate this!" Titia said as a growl escaped her mouth. "He treats those stupid sluts like the ground they walk on is sacred!" She paced softly around the den room they were in so angry that her hackles stood up.
"Calm down Titia. It's all part of the plan and you know that." Maovu replied as he watched her pace from where he laid.
"But Maovu he's never treated any girl as well as he's treating that Lilly slut. It's like he's trying to turn over some new god forsaken leaf!" Titia said and then she sighed softly. "Why can't he ever treat me that way? I love him so much."
Maovu rolled his eyes. "It's part of the plan." He repeated to her while biting his tongue on what he really wanted to tell her. It wasn't his place though to tell Titia that Jeuri hated her. She was a pawn just as much as the two new females were. Jeuri had managed to reel her in just as he was reeling in these two.
"Bullshit Maovu! It wasn't part of the plan to bring back two females and keep them of their own free will by lying to them! We were supposed to be guarding them right now and Jeuri should have already planted his seed! Our numbers are never gonna grow unless we get this show on the road! I'm ready for some blood shed!" Titia exclaimed then tossed her head to the side and flopped down to the floor at the same time. "Hell I'd settle for the screams of rape."
Maovu gave Titia a disgusted look and shook his head. "You are one sick female Titia."

Lilly was lost in her own thoughts, which was a normal state of mind for her as she reveled once more in the wonders of the world around her. It wasn't until her sister nudged her and reminded her that Jeuri wanted to speak with her that Lilly forgo her flower-gazing and returned once more to the den. Taking a path that she'd seen the King use on occasion, she took it at a jog, and though it was a bit of a climb and tired her a bit, she was awestruck once more at the scenery around the area Jeuri had chosen as his own. "I can see my sister from here!" she giggled, pointing out her older sister's ghostly form as it wound between a couple of trees before disappearing like a ghost. "Lotus said she'd bring me back a rabbit," she whispered as if it was a secret only for Jeuri to hear before giggling and laying down beside him.
Lotus was indeed hunting for a couple rabbits. She's spotted a small group not too far away hidden in the brush, and she made quick work of two of them before the group realized she was there. Putting one atop the other, she took them both in her mouth and made her way back to the den. Things seemed to have been rather nice the last few days, and she suspected Jeuri had feelings for her sister. She had to admit she could of done much worse than be with a King, and was quite happy for her. Still, she made sure to stay away from Titia as much as possible, as that female gave her the major creeps. Still things HAD been good for them, and Lotus was humming softly to herself as she approached the den. She heard voices speaking harshly, and curious, she crept inside the cave with the rabbits in her teeth all but forgotten.
Lotus's ears perked forward and her body tensed soon as she heard what could only be Titia calling her sister a slut, and she nearly dropped the rabbits in shock as the rest of their conversation sunk in. If it wasn't for the rabbits in her mouth, she would of cried out, instead she backed out as fast as she silently dared, and leaned against the cliff wall a short way from the entrance, forcing her breath slowly through her nose and urging her heart to calm it's rapid pace. She was glad she was in a blind spot so no one could see her from above or within the cave, least until someone either looked out the cave or looked straight down from above. Seriously needing to think, she walked a little farther down from the cave and settled on the ground. Dropping the rabbits in her mouth, she started chewing one idly as her thoughts raced.

Jeuri perked up a bit as he spotted Lilly coming up the trail and smiled at her. A light chuckle escaped his maw at her words and as she laid down next to him he lightly nudged her neck. "You are so sweet Lilly." Jeuri stated with a bright smile to her.
Titia growled at Maovu's words and stalked out of the den. God she hated Maovu sometimes. He could be such a pain in the butt. At the entrance of the den she stopped and gazed upward. She knew Jeuri was up there with Lilly and it enraged her fiercly. She wanted to be up there in Lilly's place. Lilly was not the kind of girl that Jeuri deserved and she knew it. She could be a thousan times better lioness than that silly retard ever would be.

Lotus turned slightly when she spotted movement behind her, and stopped chewing long enough to observe Titia come out with daggers in her gaze. She could only be glad she'd moved before either Maovu or Titia had discovered her there. This thought sent her shuddering lightly, even moreso when she thought of her who her sister was with. This was a serious problem, and Lotus had only begun to scratch the surface. She wondered about how to gain more information without anyone catching on....?
Lilly giggled at the nudge, rolling over to her side and lightly pawing at Jeuri's flakes. "Mama always said I was sweet like honey and that's why the bees liked me so much." Rolling over onto her back, she gazed upward towards the stars and watched them for a moment. "Mama also said the stars are the souls of lions who've died and they watch over us...do you think that's true?"

Titia couldn't take the idea of Lilly and Jeuri up there anymore. Extending her claws out she rounded on the wall of the den and dug her claws into the hard rock leaving scratch marks all the way to the floor. Still not satisfied she snarled and rushed into the tree's looking for anything she could take her anger out on that would scream.
Jeuri smiled at Lilly as she pawed at his flakes. The action was just so darned cute he couldn't help but smile. As she rolled onto her back to look at the stars he did the same while still lying close enough that their sides were touching. "I do. My father loved to watch the stars and he always told me and my brother the same that your mother told you. I know right now my father is watching me. I do hope he is proud of who I have risen to be."

"Hmm....so the demoness reveals her true nature at last?" murmured Lotus in something that barely a whisper. She couldn't help but feel pity for whatever creature would end up at the end of Titia's claws this night. She looked up at where she knew her sister was, and felt a shiver of fear work it's way down her spine, leaving her feeling very cold with dread. Still...the King had been very nice to them both, most especially to Lilly, and so she had to give him props for that. A gentle night breeze whispered along her body, bringing with it a single whispered warning that came from nowhere, but seemed meant for her ears alone. "Watch your back..."**** "What was your daddy like? Was he white like us too?" Lilly asked curious, her face screwed up in thought as she tried to remember her own parents. ((Sorry for crappy reply for Lilly, I just realized I need to work on their back history xd And the little whisper for Lotus was from Koichi, just so ya know heart ))

The poor creature that caught Titia's claws was now just a dead corpse laying in a puddle of blood. Her nerves were finally calmed as the scent of blood filled her nostrils. Death and destruction always made her happy and when she was angry it always made her calm again. Now she laid next to the carcass of her victim not intending to eat the poor creature but possibly take it back to Jeuri in hopes to achieve some praise.
Jeuri smiled at Lilly's questions though the thought of his father always made him unhappy. He couldn't however let her know this so he tried to keep a smile on his face while he spoke of his father. "My father was a regal male and patient though you couldn't push him too far or you would make him mad. He was partially white. His mane was black as was his tail and he had red tribal markings on his forelegs and a big red X on his back. He was a handsome male in his time."
