WWE Championship:
Batista vs. Cena
This should be a good match. Ever since their dual victories at WM21, I've been wanting to see these two main event Wrestlemania together.

World Heavyweight Championship:
Edge vs. Jericho
I'm just going to come out and say it: I'm extremely iffy about seeing Jericho in the main event. I mean, he definately deserves it, but as far as his total package goes, he should be somewhere in the late middle of the card at best. Besides, as we should all realize, if Edge hadn't come back in time to win the Rumble, they probably wouldn't have dropped the title to Jericho in the first place, right? So if it weren't for his feud with Edge, he wouldn't even BE in the main event.

In any case, I'm pleased to see that neither of the main events matches are a triple threat this year.

Undertaker vs. HBK:
No match involving either of these guys is ever bad, so regardless of the result, as long as it doesn't end in disqualification, this should be a show stealer.

MITB:
Kane vs. Ziggler vs. Benjamin vs. Christian vs. MVP vs. Jack Swagger vs. 2 others
It's good to see Ziggler appearing at wrestlemania, and although Benjamin hasn't got a chance of winning, it's still refreshing that he still has this match to place him on the card. Only, this is supposed to be the last WM money in the bank match, so could this be Benjamin's last wrestlemania?
Also, I'd rather not see Jack Swagger appearing at WM at all, but that's just me.
Let's hope Kofi and Morrison get in.

Mr. McMahon vs. Bret Hart- Oh, finally it gets announced! Well, it's been a long time coming, and it's sure to be a major ticket-seller. Now, despite the hype, I really don't see it being that good of a match. Remember last year, Jericho against theree has-beens, only one of which seemed to briong talent with him? That's what this match will probably be. Even though McMahon's clearly in better shape than Bret Hart (Physically, at least,) Bret's still probably going to win.

The matches that haven't officially been announced yet:

Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk
This will make for an awesome opening amtch.

Ted Dibiase vs. Randy Orton
Well, if Ted wins, it'll be a perfect opportunity for him to launch his singles career. Because god knows he's ready for one.

Triple H vs. Sheamus
Whoa. Okay, this is a match I'll be paying to see. It's refreshing to see that they're going to leave Sheamus on the main card for a while, after two months as WWE champion, rather than just dropping him to the lower mid-card the second they're done with him. *Cough*Khali*Cough*
In any case, this match, regardless of who wins or loses, will be Sheamus's way of showing us that he actually deserves the attention he gets, and I hope to god that he does prove it.

That's because WWE is now in a very delicate and dangerous situation. It's a sticky situation.. sketchy.

Edge vs Jericho- JERICHO NEEDS THIS!!!! He hasn't had a big moment since he won the undisputed championship! He needs this bad.
PostPosted: Fri Mar 12, 2010 6:26 am

the way i see it HBK and jericho need to win. Jericho has been s**t on many times over the years even though he should be one of the biggest pieces of the puzzle in the wwe. as for the other is takers streak is ended, yeah it sucks that a big name will end it rather than using it to push a kid up the ranks but....it wouls be complete ******** bullshit to put taker over hbk 2 wrestlemanias in a row. alot of people may not agree with me but HBK should be held on a much much higher pedestal than taker anyway and i think its about time he gets a huge win like this to end his streak of jobbing to nearly everyone such as jericho, orton, and batista, just to name a few

I agree. Michaels needs to get this and Taker needs to step down and become a legend like he deserves to be.

let's take a look at the matches:

Pick - Who I'd love to see with the win
Prediction - Who I think will win

CM Punk vs Rey Mysterio
I put it as a WrestleMania match because at this point, it's just a matter of days before it is made official. I'm 50/50 in the way they build this, the "love it" part being how they portray CM Punk in that feud. Damn I love his heel persona! The part against is simply that I don't feel they can do a good match together. Might be an okay match at most, but both didn't renew themselves in a long time, which makes the upcoming spots as predictable as how they included Rey's family into the mix.
Pick: Rey
Prediction: CM "What about John Cena?"* Punk

Money in the bank Ladder match: Christian vs Ziggler vs Kane vs Benjamin vs Swagger vs MVP vs Hardy vs Bourne vs McIntyre vs (TBD)
Well honestly, this one causes no big surprises to me as of who's in so far. Benjamin, Swagger, Bourne, MVP, Ziggler and Kane would be great winners, but it seems like WWE lost any faith in them and they have no solid plans for any of them. Drew is already IC champ and in the past years, never we saw a champ winning it. Hardy, they sometimes have ideas for him and Christian is also one to consider as a potential winner considering the huge hype going around him lately and let's not forget how they built him in ECW. So I'm really torn between both.
Pick: Matt Hardy
Prediction: Christian

Triple H vs Sheamus
I'm not surprised it happens, but I'm surprised the WWE championship is not on the line. They know each other well as after all, everybody knows the stories of Sheamus being HHH's pet. So in the end it depends on the HHH factor, which is "Will he put his protégé over or seek for glory at WrestleMania?" As much as I don't like the Sheamus character inside WWE, I am somewhat a fan of his work and I feel like he could go far in the company with the right pushes. He's the modern big guy and Raw's answer to Matt Morgan, all they need is stop taking him to the left when he should go right.
Pick: Sheamus
Prediction: HHH

ShoMiz vs John Morrison & R-Truth
Hmm, Miz & Morrison being in opposite corners this year, this should be interesting. There isn't much hype in this match, which is a deception to me, considering that Show somewhat kept the persona he had with Jericho and he could attack R-Truth on words really easy and add to this the former teammates in opposite corners and you have SO MUCH to say about it to make an intense rivalry! Truth and Morrison can do too much in singles to be sealed together with the Unified belts (when are they going to divide them or drop one of the straps anyway?) and I feel like they're not done with Show and Miz considering a feud between both combined with a Miz face turn would be pretty cool this spring.
Pick: ShoMiz
Prediction: ShoMiz

Bret Hart vs Vince McMahon
You can say whatever you want about Vince McMahon, you cannot deny that when it comes to build an insane rivalry with anyone else, he is a master in that and his storyline with Bret Hart is no exception to this. But then again, the past gave them one hell of a big help in the build-up. However, I think we can expect a great match. The matches with Vince McMahon are usually interesting and really entertaining at WrestleMania and Hart's retirement match will be no exception to this. I don,t expect Vince to win as he always put the other person over in big events, going as far as getting his head shaved at one point. Match of the year? No. Must see? Yes.
Pick: Bret
Prediction: Bret

The Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels
All together, this match is, without a doubt, the hardest outcome to predict in all of Undertaker's Wrestlemania matches. Why? Because something will end and what ends is something we never thought would, which is the streak or HBK's career. HBK's career would end, but to put it on the line with the streak caught me by surprise as I thought we would walk out on a positive note at WrestleMania. I never EVER doubted of the streak's continuity until now. But I can go on and predict another great match. Not as good as last year, but still a good one.
Pick: HBK
Prediction: The Undertaker

Batista vs John Cena
THERE we go! NOW they have the Cena vs Batista match they always wanted at WrestleMania. And now I'm guaranteed to sleep during a WrestleMania World title match the the FIRST TIME EVER! Seriously, Is that possible to make a Main Event that does not involve any of the Main Event Whores?!?! Cena, Batista, HHH, Orton... WE NEED SOME CHANGE! I'll be honest with you guys, I'm not going to watch this one and I don't give a damn what the result is because one way or another, it will be the same old crap it's been for the last 5 years.
Pick: Vince's wallet
Prediction: Vince's wallet

Chris Jericho vs Edge
YES! ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH WITH NO MAIN EVENT WHORES IN! It is the first time since Edge vs Taker and I hope this won't be the last. But coming back to the match, I'm surprised they push Edge as a face, but he was due to be something else than a big heel as otherwise he wouldn't be able to do anything new. Chris Jericho is one of the best performers in WWE right now and so is Edge, so pairing these two had me screaming "ABOUT DAMN TIME!" when he officially announced he was going for WHC. Plus the way they build it is not outstanding, but still interesting. The famous momentum seeking through big matches is always working and entertains the crowd with matches.
Pick: Edge
Prediction: Edge

*For those who didn't get it: He apparently said that to The Undertaker when Taker confronted him about his clothing while he was World champ, saying he should dress better as he represents the company while he is the title holder.

I could see Jericho cheating to win this one... That way he'd get to protect his already strained credibility for a while longer, without harming his heel rep. And their feud could intensify, and carry on for a long damn time.

jericho and edge fueding would be good for both of them. they both play very well as heel and face so the possibilities are limitless for them however i have absolutely NO faith in the creative team WWE ******** all of them

WWE Championship:
Batista vs. Cena
winner-Batista...it's 2010, Cena's time is over. Na-Na-Na-Na Good bye!

World Heavyweight Championship:
Edge vs. Jericho
I am doing to go with Edge on this one simply because I like him better then Jericho. I really could care less either way to be honest.

Undertaker vs. HBK:
Seeing as it is now a no-dq match, I give the edge to Taker, but the win to HBK because, I think that HBK has done so much for the WWE throughout his career that this will be his send-off. It does not damage the Undertaker's legacy, the man was over a decade and a half of complete domination.

MITB:
Kane vs. Ziggler vs. Benjamin vs. Christian vs. MVP vs. Jack Swagger vs. Evan Borne
Dolph Ziggler is my prediction in this one...they are hyping Christian, but I just sense an upset in this one.

Mr. McMahon vs. Bret Hart
No Holds Barred...this should be a relatively quick match.

Ted Debiase vs. Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes
Look for a Debiase win...followed by a Debiase/Rhodes feud. Should be good though, time for Orton to do something else anyway.

Triple H vs Sheamus
Sheamus...Trips is gonna push his buddy over the top in what will be the biggest match at Mania this year in my opinion.
PostPosted: Wed Mar 17, 2010 7:54 pm

********> is Rhodes doing in this? I don't like it.. This should have been a Randy vs Debiase! Rhodes ruins it, but I guess you gotta get Legacy to split up somehow.. I would love to see Debiase in a singles career.
