"Darling, stop teasing that poor wher and come inside with me, the union knows that the harper girl is already in there, causing a scene." The twinkle in Siipola's dark eyes and the upbeat tone of her voice showed no irritation with the situation, nor with the fact that they were at least a candlemark "late". The two didn't have an official meeting time, yet they had long since gotten into a routine of meeting for a meal once a week and discussing Ghenza.
Brushing loose strands of hair from her face, she casually entered the building, drawn by a pretty, impetuous voice toward her usual seat. That bright, too-gorgeous grin flashed onto her face and she raised an eyebrow at the younger harper [once a harper, always a harper, after all].
"Isandra, sweetheart, how are you?" There was no question of which one of them had more power and influence, however, Siipola rather enjoyed Isandra's company and she heard things that the union member would never be privy too. "I ran a bit late with a case, but that's no real issue, hmm?" A brief flap of the hand dismissed her own tardiness and she sent a glowing look toward the server that put her meal at the table within seconds of her settling in. "Marvelous."
"So," she clapped her hands together, peering at the pretty young thing before her as her diminutive green wher made herself at home nearby. "Have you met any of our guests?"

Siipola was always late, so consistently, in fact, that Isandra had stopped considering the older Harper late and herself prompt. She always made sure she had this particular time slot free; Isandra always made time for information. To be perfectly honest, the Harper also found herself rather fond of the company she kept here. All in all, it was a very beneficial arrangement for all parties involved. Or it would be, if Siipola would just show-
She glanced up, her partner in crime taking her seat, her meal following shortly. "Guests? Guests? Is that what we're calling those who dare invade our home as though we are nothing more than a foster?" Isandra's nostrils flared, eyes bright as she jerked her chin and fought the powerful urge to fold her arms over her chest and snort. (But that would not be very ladylike, not in the least, and she did actually enjoy the older Harper's company. Once a Harper, always a Harper, after all. They had to stick together as Ghenza was turned upside down!)
"It's a scandal, I'm telling you. Absolute scandal. You would not believe the things I hear about those folk!" She paused, briefly, reaching up to twirl a wavy black lock around a finger. "Of course, I may or may not have instigated a great many of those rumors, but really. It's madness." Isandra slapped down a hand on the table, shaking her head with a disgusted sigh. "And you? Have you met them?"
