More than a regular multi-vitamin, the things I find that I need most are iron and B-12, but I don't really take them regularly. They are very expensive so I generally take a small dose every two or three days. It works and I've had much more energy than I did. (I was full out anemic and B-12 deficient)
Taking a liquid iron supplement weekly or bi-weekly might help, but the thing that I have to say about vitamins is that the smaller the amount of nutrients the better, (Strange but true) barraging your system with 100% of your daily requirement of vitamin X isn't actually very good for you. We're meant to absorb vitamins and minerals slowly over our day, and so chopping vitamins in half or even in quarters if you can and having it morning noon and night will help you absorb vitamins faster.

Alright guys, check this out. After a bit more research, I found some vitamins that could quite possibly work. All the adult forms of these are just as overpowered as the others, but taking children vitamins isn't harmful, correct? VegLife Kids Multivitamin

I've been debating the whole vegetarian thing too. If I can avoid beef, I do because I don't like the taste. I try not to eat processed meat like hotdogs and such. I'm really stuck on chicken though. I like fish but don't actually like a lot of vegetables. I like eggs, but I feel bad when I think about where they came from. I don't know if my body could even sustain a vegetarian diet. I have relatives that are vegetarians, but I really don't know if I could handle the diet or not.

Look up various international vegetarian cuisines. I had some vegan ones not long ago and they were DELICIOUS!!!

If a relatively balanced diet is observed, vitamins shouldn't really be necessary. I am vegan, have been so for a very long time, and I quit taking vitamin suppliments a long time ago with no ill effect. Many foods like cereals, tempeh, soy milk, and nutritional yeast are already fortified with hard to find vitamins.
Some thing to bear in mind; often when people first quit eating meat, their bodies go through a "detox" phase where they may not feel very energetic. This will pass. It is also common for new vegetarians to feel hungry more often. This is because a vegetarian diet is much easier to digest, so the stomach empties quicker. Many people confuse this with hunger. This too, will pass with time.
Good luck and don't sweat it too much. It's really not as difficult as people believe it is. In the end, you'll feel better physically, mentally and spiritually by not eating fellow sentient beings. smile

Just a little update: I have gone vegetarian again. Have been for about a week and a half and it has been so great! Thanks to everyone for your advice. I greatly appreciate it all. =]

Thank you for posting this information. I did not know this. I take One a Day Men's vitamins and I get extra B12 from an energy drink that is packed with several important B vitamins. The energy drink I split into thirds or fourths, so that is divided, but I'll try splitting the pill up now too.
