How dreadful, too bad I don't have the time or the gold for that matter to BUMP. I'm busy enough as it is with my own quest. I probably donated about 2K in the past weeks, and no one returned me any favor.. so eeeh, I'm going to start being all selfish and saving up gold for my Dark Cape, and once I'm done with that, and get all of the other items to make my Dream Avi a reality, then I'll try to donate and help other ppl, but for now, I'm just going to worry about myself. sweatdrop

Another one of those people who expect to get something back for their kindness! *hisses* People should donate just to feel good about themselves knowing that they were able to help someone, not because they are expecting to get something back in return. Besieds, you do get something back. You get to carry the title of a helpful person who is willing to help others when they need it.

I don't see how not sharing Gaia gold is such a dreadful thing. Its not like real money and you aren't sharing with some one who is starving.
Granted, Gaia gold is easy come and easy go... but not so much if you don't have masses amount of, what I affectionately call 'loser time' to invest on Gaia. Lord knows I've spent more hours than I should here.
I have probably donated about 10k (of gold and items) and $15 to friends and random people on Gaia. and I have received only about 1000g in total in return since joining. I have also spent about $50 and 200k on myself over the last 2 years and currently have almost 100k in savings. I have no intentions of give any of that to anyone else right now. And I don't feel bad about it. Whoop-de-do, I'm Gaia rich. Big fricking deal. Cuz quite frankly, if I could get that much gold, so can every one else. What's so wrong about working for it like other people do?

It is a charity for your average gaian essentially. They have to have a quest thread that has more than I think it was 5 pages or so and it has to have existed for a week or more. Nothing fancy about it really. I forget all the rules to it but once I take control I'll obviously have it memorized. Right now I'm still only talking to the current owner and it is rather hard since she has no comp so I have to wait til the next time she can get access to one. Once I take control I'll be sure to post a link for all of you guys. I find it no prob to donate now a days since that is what I do most of my time. I no longer quest. I just waste my gold since my friends don't ask and n00bs don't ask so I just spend it away fishing or doing other random acts. confused
