i want to chat more with my friends but am intimidated by having six pages of them.
so i went through and removed fifteen who had not posted anything on gaia in over five months or so
and on my list were Caghyre and Ersind and gin.
i left them on, just in case
but i got seriously depressed and felt compelled to infect you with my depression.

I keep meaning to do a clean up. There's people on there who haven't come online since 2005. But I can't help but be sentimental, and there's other things - like my email accounts, which are in far more need of my sorting attention...
I guess it's sad when people don't come online anymore. But I try to remind myself that usually people just fade away when their real lives become more busy - and that in many cases, it means they're leading happier and more active lives. So I should try to be happy for them. sweatdrop

I'm very particular about who I consider my friend, both here and irl, so if I do consider them a friend, I usually won't change that even if I haven't seen a person for years.
It can be sad when your friends screen is a constant reminder of the people you no longer see though.

there are 12 people on my friendlist of which one is myself (long, long ago you could add yourself to your friendlist) and one of them is gambino.
if i'd sort out the people i never talk to no more i'd probably end up with about three friends on my friendlist (me and gambino still included)
and yet i couldn't be better.
